I recently started a new pilot and played through the Captains of Freeport missions. Then I got my UE legal rating back up to clean and started the UE missions (killing dreadnaughts with phase-only weaponry is fun....not really) but ran into a problem. During the Free Huron missions, there is one mission (id #191 i think) called "Capture Renegade Leader." This mission involves boarding a renegade turncoat in the Yelts system.
The problem is that, after the Freeport missions, the Yelts system is actually a different s˙st resource than the original, and as such the target ship never shows up. I quickly made a hack plugin that changes the mission's shipsyst value, but it will make the mission not work unless you have done the Freeport missions.
Now to the question: Has anyone else run into this problem, and what did they do about it? I think that the whole mission needs to be changed, but I don't really know what to build it to in order for it to work.
Actually, in theory I could use some other bits to set up an alternate version of the mission that only triggers after the Freeport string, but it seems rather complex.
