    • Sometimes I wish the automatic saving didn't exist.

I kinda forgot that if you accept a mission and abort and repeat that several times everyone starts to hate you. Oops. Is there any way I can reverse this? I'm in Voinian space (I was trying to help them, I've never done that before, but now I've screwed it up), so there are no pirates to kill... I suppose I could kill some UE ships? Hrm. My stupid Arada won't be a match for them... I guess I could always come back after I've helped one of the strands.

I wish I knew how to use ResEdit.

    • Back up your file frequently while doing missions. Oh, the voinians all hate you anyways by the time you've done several UE missions, so dont worry about that.

    • But that's just the thing, I'm not doing the UE missions this time... I was going to do the Voinian string, but now I'm a criminal on all their worlds because I'm an idiot. I already did the first three missions. I had Decent Individual legal status on all their planets already...

      Damn.

      ------------------

    • I take it you've already landed on a bunch of planets and saved, huh?

    • I'm not sure if this works in EVO, but it works in EV. Just hire a bunch of freighters and pirates should follow you wherever you go. If that doesn't work, couldn't you just blow up some UE ships or some Elmaghia? (sorry, forgot how to spell the name)

Hand me the gun and say that again.

I pressed ESC the second I saw it, but it was too late. It already saved on the planet I was.

Zax - I'm off to try that right now... I'll try that freighters thing too, except I don't have much credits so I can't afford too many for too long.

    • Success.

Are there any more Voinian missions after destroying Verril Prime? I seem to remember reading someplace that there aren't, but then I didn't get a message saying I completed a central objective. Strangely enough, I'm a Fugitive on most UE worlds, except Huron, and when I went there I got the first mission for the UE, to rescue the Voinian defector from Pax. If there aren't any more Voinian missions I'll go ahead and do the UE string as well, it could be fun working for both. The Voinians suck, anyway, as if anyone would want to buy their slow ships.

No, but if you go to (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evo/addons.html")www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evo/addons.html(/url) there is Reign of the Voinians which is very good and continues the string

    • Oh yes, good idea. I'll backup my pilot file and do the plug-in, and then use the other to do the UE mission string again. Thanks!

This game is so unbelievably addictive...

Use ROTV 1 and 2 to do more for the Voinians
