i just downloaded EVO and registered it.
im wondering what you guys think is the best way to go (ships, races etc...)
I have a pilot that is pro-UE but i was just wondering who you guys prefer to go with

Fresh meat! May I suggest that you take your shuttle, and travel due east from the UE worlds.....you can make a lot of money pirating those big yellow igazra ships.

I like to do the Azdgari missions, then come back and kick the Voinians with alien technology.

Santa or Satan you say! I suggest you explore a bit, it is always useful to know more or less where your mission leads you, mostly because some require a time limit.
There is the UE/Voinian plot

The three Crescent nations: Zidagar (purple), Igadzra (yellow) and Azdgari (green). They are interesting but once you started one of them, you cannot do any of the two other. Except,I might spoil something here, when you start the first Zidagar mission on Pozdag and then just after the Igadzra mission on I don't remember where. For the three of them, you have to do the diplomatic mission with the Miranu. (north of UE space)

There are some Zachit mission (anti-renegades) and renegades missions. As well as a the nice sky-ressort mission.

Do not miss the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evo/addons.html")add-on section (/url)of EVO or Escape Velocity classic or Escape Velocity Nova, well it is a gaming company here, so you know what I mean...

My tastes: the Zidagar for the Zidara, but without a plug, the beams eat too much fuel. The Voinian for the nasty armor in the crescent.

I personally like playing for the Igadzra and the Miranu. Their technology is great.

The UE have some pretty cool missions, too. Oh, if you're up to the challenge, becoming a traitor and playing on the Voinians' side can be entertaining as well!

argh!!

now im stuck with a UE destroyer and 3 helian escorts

i get killed at the renegade places and by the voinians too
im not even going to attempt to do the dreadnought because i would die really fast.
and my claoking device i lost as well as my needle jammer because i was saving up for the destroyer so the UES Ipswich mission will be hard.
any suggestions?

There is some kind of Bug that allows you to start the first mission of a race while you didn´t finish the first mission of another.

I have almost the whole map revealed now but i was wondering how to get the Ji nebula mission

also if anyone knows of a site which has most of the EV missions and how to get them that would be very helpful

i went to shaynon's but there are only human ones
no alien ones
