Shade indicated that bargoers have developed a taste for plot and adventure, so maybe all of these formats are evolving towards each other. Me, I like to write and bounce ideas off other people, play out an EVO scenario. I'm not sure if the label we put on that makes much difference to the fun of it.
By the way, Rebel Council, welcome to whatever it is we're doing here.

The Hypergate is like the resistance (If you know what that is)... we used to be on the nova board but they moved us to the B&B; board. Go there sometime, if only just to read for a bit. Personally I think people take it a tad to serious, getting niggly when something doesn't make perfect sense, but still, s'good. It's kind of hard to explain, you have to come and see to understand, basically it's like a story where all the characters are written by different people, people mess up other writers plans, they write around problems like that, and it works.
History Lesson:
The hypergate traces it's uh... origins, thats the word, back to the "unnamed bar" (I think that's the right name) created by pipeline I think, about a year ago. We knew nothing about nova so we had a five page bar that was basically a joke about how we didn't know the names of things. eg: "Azdara sits down on an unnamed seating device and orders an unknown beverage." Kinda stupid, kinda wanky. That was where the origonals were, the admiral, me, heaps of other people. Then that bar was closed because it got stupid or something, I dunno, I left for a bit... I think there was a second unnamed, but in the end it led to pipeline creating the hypergate, which was a bar on port kane, a station from the NOVA universe. He said "you know more now, no GEO's and unnameds." It was an ordinary bar, like this one, people killing people, short posts, long posts, violence etc... Anyway, somehow we started writing more formally (It's happening here), becoming more real (less "thingo walks into bar, shoots everyone in head, sits down gets drunk"), more detailed untill one day we were like a story... It was good, somehow it just worked. Some have left, some have joined and we stay. Check it out for yourself...
