Huron System
The Acarra, with the Command Ship Demeter and its remaining escorts, waited for the Confed force to strike first, their weapons ready. Suddenly, the fighters made a charge around the flank of the Confeds, drawing away fire as the main force charged into the center of the enemy line.
The Acarra tore away at the Confeds with all they had, with energy lances streaking out and smashing through shields and armor, and psionic pulses blowing apart fighters.
Suddenly, as the Confeds started to weaken, they suddenly detected a massive energy surge.
Over 59 warships jumped into the system, their weapons armed. As they began to launch a swarm of fighters, the Confed fleet was forced to retreat, for they would be killed instantly if they tried to stay and fight.
As the Confeds left, the Acarra began to clean up the huge amount of wreckage left behind, which included all of the Coalition fleet. Their shockwarriors easily took control of the planet, for none could stand against their psionic powers in ground warfare.
Huron was now in the hands of the Acarra Empire.

OOC: Sorry Grundy, but you would have really died instantly anyway, even if you did cloak.

Ancara Nebulae System
In the darkest depths of the nebula which filled the Ancara Nebulae system, the Acarra war machine was already hard at work. The losses suffered in the Battle of Huron were severe, and Thrade's and Tronos's forces would be unable to move for some time.
But the losses would soon be mended, but that was later. Now, Thrade needed a new ship.
The Myrmidon was the latest of the great Command Ships. Its hull was huge, and Prelate Zaertarul, the command and cheif of the Acarra Navy under the Covenant and Emporer Carnotaur, had ordered the ship constructed not long before the Battle of Huron. Now, construction of the vessel was being increased in speed, for Thrade needed a new command ship, and he needed one very quickly.

DSN-2131 System
"'Build me a fortress bigger than any known today'..." said Fourth General Vaergon, quoting an Acarran general of old which had ordered the construction of the huge battlestation in Arzdagi.
His fleet was stationed in the system to start work on a large Deimos-class Warstation. It would take a rather long time to fully complete, but the basic structure would be completed and ready for use fairly soon.

OOC: Mamajama, I doubt it would be 3 feet high just yet. Three feet LONG, but not three feet HIGH.

Slug Research - Nemnel System
While one slug was still hidden inside the whole brain of a Grivian, the other continued to move about and explore his surrounders. He was eating less, and was now 3 feet long. His mouth was rather big, and could easily crush skulls with its huge, sharp, and rather strong teeth.
Suddenly, one day, the second slug emerged from the brain which it had been living in. Seconds later, the brain began to writhe and contort, and was slowly consumed from the inside out by six 4-inch-long baby slugs. The slugs had voracious appetites, and thus required more food.
To see what their response would be, the scientists put a whole dead Grivian in the chamber. The six baby slugs and two large 3-foot-long adult slugs ate it within a few minutes. Then, to furthur experiment, one scientist actually went ahead and put in a live Grivian, against orders however. The two large slugs actually attacked it, latching onto its head and somehow gaining control of its nervous system, causing it to flop to the ground, paralyzed. The adult slugs then crawled inside the slug for a little while, apparently layed eggs, then left and let the baby slugs slowly devour it. Once again, six more baby slugs appeared from the head of the grivian, eating it quickly.
The two larger slugs were now rather dangerous looking. They had grown to 6-feet-long, with large, totally black eyes, and jaws that could snap off the head of a Grivian in a split second. They could also move rather quickly, and to be safe, the scientists had extra thick glass put in.
