You're right about the dispersal rockets - I must have got an encounter with a përs stuck in my head. Silly me, I distinctly remember saying "Laziras are harder to beat than Crescent warships, because they have dispys". I meant it was disagreeing with you as my opinion changed the moment you posted.
Yes, two heavy rockets could wipe out a Crescent fighter. That just about means that Lightnings don't have enough heavy rockets to clear the C. warship's escorts, eh? (4 rockets, need 6). And anyway, I'm for the Lightnings. I'm just not sure about the Kestrel against the Crescent warship, fighters off. The Crescent warship is an ugly bastard, and I think ugliness adds 800 shields in EV/O. : )
Interesting fact for you. The Kestrel has 1 torpedo launcher and 4 torpedoes. The Crescent warship has 2 (not certain) SAD launchers, and 15 SAD modules. They'll be some change for the lack of missiles if ship size makes the difference, but...problem. I don't think EV:O does the same sort of thing - notice how EV:O supports less secondary weapons in general?
Two protons vs. three phase. Protons are stronger, I think phase are faster.
Hmm...I have an EV match for you. Lightning against the Azdara.
...boom! Take that, Azdgari scum!
