Hi everyone. I'm playing the Frozen Heart plugin and have just completed the mission where you prove your innocence in the Faust election. Now I can't find any plot-type missions... the only new mission type is 'diplomatic pouch' and I've done a lot of those with no real effect except to raise my legal standing to 'living legend'... 
Is there some planet I'm supposed to go to? I've been going all over the place trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do next.

Do you have the tach fighter ship yet? Probably so, if you did the election thing. If you don't have it, play chess with Emile in the Sol system, then follow up on that. There are some "instructing pilots" missions that are fun, but the next big missions have to do with archaeological digs. Jump on anything like that that comes up. If memory serves, you can pick those up mainly in the Earth or Sol systems. Also, any missions to do with women, past or present, will lead to greater things. Check in at Devore and New Venus once in awhile.

I´ve completed few missions this serie, and in Spica I got a mission to rescue someone in Polaris system, but timelimit exceeds every time I try to complete mission. What should I do?

Thanks for the response... but to clarify, yes, I have the Tachyon fighter. I have completed the alien wreck missions, the archeological missions to get my degree, the Devore missions, assorted spying missions, the teaching pilots missions (up to a raid on a pirate planet), rescued Jasta Hella, rescued an old school friend (her name escapes me), done the elections, proved my innocence in said elections, and done a bunch of stuff around New Venus (getting a mind probe and then taking 'proof' back to Earth).
From reading other messages, I know things left to do include: attacking New Venus, finding Emile dead, and some sort of black hole mission.
However, despite hanging around the Sol system, Devore, Spica, Reformation, and New Venus (all places I thought likely to have the next mission) I can't find any new missions, and just flying around looking for them is getting really boring. sigh I may just start on the next plugin.

Okay, I think I ran into the same problem. Has the war in Devore finished? In other words, has it become New Devore? If not, then you should go back there and look for a mission in the bar. If it doesn't appear, accept one from the mission computer, abort it, and try the bar again - doing that resets the bar and mission computer... when I figured that the next mission had to be from Devore, I had to do that trick about 5 times in a row before I got the mission.. but as you say, flying around aimlessly sure does get dull :).

You should be rescuing someone in Altair (ie, the first system on the way to the Orion constellation from Sirius) and then taking them to Polaris. This is probably why your mission is timing out.
