    • Hinwar/Central UE objective

Hi. I've finally destroyed the dreaded naught, (without a cheat, even - but with a souped up UE cruiser and a captured Igadzra) and the marines have taken over Gualon Station. Am I done with the Hinwar/ central UE objective? If not, what comes next? I looked through some old posts but haven't seen this question answered.

    • If there was a message congratulating you for completeing one of Override's central objectives, then the mission string is probably over.

What took you so long? I did it in a freight courier, and I hear one crazed hero* did it in a krait!

I got the congrats on the Nebulae and Strand War objectives, but not on the UE Pushing back the Voinians objective. So, there's something left to do, but I'm damned if I know what. The Marines landed and did their thing, now what?

I abandoned EVO to play Frozen Heart and Femme Fatale, now am done with those, back to EVO.

I think I did it in a fixed up scoutship once. That was a lon gitme ago. I used my patented hit and run strategy.

    • Seems like there is one more step after the Marines land and take over but I've slept since I did it. I seem to remember that you have to take the French guy somewhere to meet Admiral McPherson. After the Admiral does his thing, the mission is over. THEN you get that "Central Objective" message.

Hope I helped more than I confused! Good luck!

The more I think about it, the more I doubt that story (mentioned (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~dsghosh/evosite/shipyard2.html#vdreadnought")here(/url)) -- two hits from a neutron cannon could probably kill a (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~dsghosh/evosite/shipyard1.html#krait")krait(/url) ...

Actually, it is over when you complete the mission that starts when the UE govt. has it's celebration, the one where you must defend a Hinwar planet.
