In the FAQ in Frozen Heart when it says something about not flying a slow ship it says you will be offered a ship so powerful you wont want to fly one of the other ships. When are you offered this ship?
Secondly I finished the mission where you fly to a planet and get a report and bring it to Earth and yikes :eek:! now it's there again on the mission computer as well as this chess thingy and nothings in the bar. Where do I go now?

I have no idea about the first question. I never liked Frozen Heart, and didn't try to find out.
Second question: I had the exact same problem after evacuating a few folks from a planet falling into Rigellian hands. I was asked to report to the spaceport outside of earth, but no luck.

The "chess thingy" is the beginning of the string to get a not-slow ship, do it.

There are several special missions in the mission computer, such as this chess mission. The other mission you took was likely to do with your degree. You must complete one or two of these missions to later pass the degree. Don't worry about them, though; you don't have to do dozens.
For now, complete the chess mission. And have patience, both on this mission and all through Frozen Heart. It can be trying... : )
Also, Trader, take care between "New Topic" and "Post Reply". I don't think anyone has quite gotten around to understanding that people might make the wrong choice.

You get given a mission to meet Rigellan dissidents by your Uncle, I forget his name.
You go to Rigel Something, I forget which one. It's the right-hand one, VI, I think.
There you meet up with a guy who does not give you the code phrase. That's important. Then, go to the mission computer.
