OV, I don't like that idea. I would rather continue with the expedition, and I think that mildly qualifies as a 1-post resolution, in an oblique sort of way.

Payback is still curious. Now he can't even remember much more than his name. Some things are coming to him, though, like that he was killed many thousands of years ago and banished to a jewel that looks like a pill. He can't recall how he died, just that it was awhile ago, and that he wants revenge on....what? Huh. Payback thinks he needs some alone time to go insane.

"Hummm, it seems I made a slight translational error." he murmurs. "It's actually the moon Garma, in the Vilian system. That'll be why Payback is so confused- we've been telling him he's the Raiog Messiah when actually he's the Garma Messiah!"
Shade turns to Payback. "Payback, you are the Garma Messiah! You were created to bring ultimate doom upon the Gadzair race! Why are you sitting about acting insane? This is the best chance you're going to get in any incarnation!

"Greetings," he says in a sibilant voice that seems to fill the air around them. "I am Oiseau, co-founder of the Council and creator of the Zidagar." his eyes blaze a deep violet.
Behind him a female Gadzair speaks. "I am Isouae, co-founder of the Council and creator of the Azdgari." her eyes shine a bright green.
The third figure speaks. "I am Uisaeo, co-founder of the Council and creator of the Igadzra." his eyes glow a firey orange.
"It is time." the three Councilmembers intone. "You presume to powers rivalling ours; you must use them against us. We shall see who is the most powerful."
Suddenly the corridor vanishes.
Everyone who took a pill is suddenly in a vast grey space, devoid of matter.
"This is the null sphere." Isouae says, voice echoing across the immense distance.
"Here, every being is a creator." Uisaeo speaks.
"We shall see whose power is greater." Oiseau intones.
A wing of Zidaras appear in the immense void.
With a wave of his hand, Uisaeo creates a fleet of Igazras.
Isouae gestures, and a squadron of Azdaras appear.
Shade creates a group of Raidzas (Raigdza heavy fighters).
Autonav forms a group of Zargdis (Zargadi Dreadnaughts).
Jess' eyes are glowing in synch with Uisaeo's; she waves, and a squadron of Igadzra Aradas appear- on Uisaeo's side.
Payback's entire body is glowing with a brilliant white light; he opens his eyes and their radiance is like twin supernovae.
He intones something in the ancient tounge of the Garma, and a single vessel appears in the void.
Sparkling with crystalline light, it is impossible to make out it's features; it could be large or small, fast or slow, weak or powerful.
"The Garma Messiah." Isouae says with suprise. "Yet even your power is not yet enough to bring us down."
"Let the games begin." Oiseau intones

Payback, still glowing, glares at the opposing creators. He closes his mind to outside distractions, and begins to feel the galaxies around him. Stars whirl around the ship, then circle around the ship. He seems immense one moment, small the next, and gigantic the third.

He spreads his hands, and white lines fire out to form a dome around Oiseau. Concentrating, Payback begins to constrict the sphere.

Autonav tries to distract the councilmembers with the Zargdis while Payback does his work. He orders them to Destroy the Igazras. The battalion leader's ship grinds forward and a glowing blob of plasma forms on the ship's hull. An enourmous electric green beam of light bursts from the blob and slices the bridge off one of the Igazras diagonally. A cloud of air emerges, then quickly disperses. The Zargdis then cloaks, and waits for the next ship to attack...

Autonav, Zardgis is the plural of Zardgi. The Zardgi Dreadnaught is the faction craft of the Zardgari, as the Azdara is for the Azdgari or the Zidara for the Zidagar.

Shade's wing of Raidza Heavy Fighters shoot forward, their Subspace Rift fields crackling around their rounded bridges like friction on a reentry craft.
The Raidzas smash through Isouae's Azdaras, ripping the fabric of space-time apart around them.
"You can never triumph against us." Shade intones. "Your power is old and it has lost momentum. Our power is fresh and brings new ideas, new technologies to the battle. Your large but limited powers cannot stand against our more versatile ones. Surrender now or face ultimate destruction at the hands of the Garma Messiah."
"Never!" Oiseau spits.
"So be it."

The constricting sphere around Oiseau is now shooting off sparks as energy is bled from Oiseau's resistance to the attack. Payback struggles, as the sphere is slowing to an eventual stop, before it can sap all of Oiseau's powers.

The black ship created by Payback is still far off in the distance. Nothing is yet known about it. It seems to wait, biding its time until appropriate.

Suddenly, a ripple pushes through the void toward Uisaeo. It rams him full force, knocking him away. Jess collapses again, only to rise almost immediately. She has been momentarily freed of evil influence, but Uisaeo is recovering from the assault quickly...

Autonav prepares the other Zargdis to obliterate the Zidaras, since thay were the more dangerous of the two. The horrible purple and yellow ships were a nusciance, as they could launch fighters. As the Zidaras noticed the lone Zargdi approaching, they did what they do best:

Launch Fighters.

The small and horrible purple and yellow ships rsced for the Zargdi, yet did not notice the size of the craft. They ran into the Zargdi's shields and were ionized. The Zidara didn't stand a chance. The Zargdi extended it's plasma torpedo launchers and fired a salvo of 6 torpedos. The highly intelligent torpedos quickly found their target.

BOOOOOM!

Crocix pumps Jess's stomach, so she is free now.
Crocix "summon" the U.E.S. Incontrovertible, that start to fire "anti-matter" torpedos, that destroy a lot of enemy's ship.

UE Admiral hears the Guard coming so he pulls out his pocket laser and readies it.
the guard turns the corner just to find his brains spilled all over the floor. UEA then takes the keys (the laser isn't strong enough to cut the lock) from the guard's belt and unlocks the door and books it down the hall. UEA (after runing through the endless corridors of the station) runs right smack into a door. "what the ****!!!!!! it
didn't ****ing open. hey what's this..... some sort of pill. why is there a deep blue pill on the floor. OH OF COURSE!!!! it must be one of those pills the others found."with that he swallows the pill and it seems to have no effect.....untill he starts thinking about where the others are. he finds himself on the strange plain with the others.

Croix, the pill is a retroviral capsule. Once eaten, it dissolves throughout the bloodstream and begins adapting the host at a cellular level. (Very fast, too!) So, no go.

Shade sees U.E. Admiral appear in the Null Sphere.
"Quickly, we must focus our strengths upon Uisaeo's forces." Shade tells him.
Igazras begin to drop like flies, but for every one destroyed Uisaeo creates another.
"This is not working!" Shade yells to Autonav and UEA. "We fust focus our powers upon Uisaeo himself!"
Casting aside the Raigdzas, Shade slams a bolt of blue fire into Uisaeo. It is countered by a shield of orange light, but Uisaeo has to concentrate his powers to defend himself.
Against the three new Creators, Uisaeo's protections begin to flicker and fall.
He stumbles, and suddenly there is a vast feeling of released tension, like a rope gone suddenly slack.
For a moment, Uisaeo is weak, and his power falters; Jess glows with an orange light as her own powers grow.
Suddenly, Jess' power is greater than Uisaeo's, and the position is switched.
Uisaeo, master of the Igadzra for millenia, has been usurped by Jess.
Quickly Jess moves to fight alongside the others, Uisaeo trailing along like a kicked dog.
