We welcome a ceasefire. We, the Azdgari, have but one request. That is, for you to stay out of the central crescent. That is, any system less than 4 jumps away from terapin. We will give you a Mil credits as a small token of our appreciation. We have learned from various sources that you are a merc group, am I right? If you are interested in gaining systems and more credits than you can imagine, reply. We can probably find a job for you.
End
Meanwhile, the Azdgari empire is runniong low on funds, although they have enough to last (until the end of this story).
Work progresses on the Azdgari project, codenamed.. ah well I forgot what it's name was, but I started it a while back. I think most of you know what it is too, but it doesn't matter. Mwah ha ha anyway..
After a month of working with the hinwar rebellion, the hinwar vessels have gotten quite strong. Although the pilot wasn't a technician, he still knew how to improve the speed abnd maneuverability of the Voinian heavy fighters, and the azdara was dissected, and the shield capacitator and generator was removed, studied, and reproduced. With the pilot there to help the hinwar rebels to make weapons, the rebellion was ready to take place. The rebels armed their weapons, and a dozen heavy fighters lifted off from the planet, and although the defense fleet knew what was happening, they couldn't get in range to the fighters fast enough... The Fighters flew towards gualon station, and fired on it. Reinforcements were called from surrounding Voinian systems, and the brave pilots knew they didn't have much more time.. their friends and family were depending on them.. so they made the ultimate sacrifice and rammed their fighters itno the station. The crashes eventually ignited the stored ammo within the station, making it explode extremely violently, clearing most of the nearby voinian fighters, disabling 2 frigates and damaging a Voinian Cruiser... The second the Station is out, the rebels swarm over the planet. Although the rebels are small in number, all they had to do was say the word and the millions of slaves turned on and killed their masters, and hotwired all of the grounded Voinian ships- giving them nearly a dozen fighters, 8 frigates, and 2 Voinian Cruisers. The ships lift off to move at the original rebel base, where the slaves rush to upgrade them. within the week, the ships are upgraded, and are holding their system, with occasional raids on surrounding systems... with each raid they gain power, with each raid the voinians lose a fragment of their war machine... a heavy fighter is upgraded particularly heavily, losing it's rocket launchers and ammo, and replacing it with maneuverability, shields, and more maneuverbility, and then it's cargo holds are filled with intricate details of producing Voinian armor, and the fighter makes its way, quickly, to Azdgari space...
(OOC: The Voinians shouldn't kill them yet. They'll be defeated in the finale, leave them be for now.)
