    • Trouble on Witches Finger

      I'm new PoG player (2wks) Swordsman, lvl:18,Exp:63K, Str:19, Dex:13,Vit:17, Life:153/160,Dam:9-21(+4), Arm:31
I have recovered 2 drangon teeth, and am trying to get info from the witch about Milla'Kara (Sheild?) I have found the peninsula just accross the bridge from the "Endless Wind" Tunnel entrance. I survived exploring the Troll hideout, but whenever I try to walk toward the end of the peninsula (West) I enter a territory with large stone-like creatures who seem to be throwing earth/dirt-like weapon and they kill me everytime! I tried using a war hammer rather than a two handed sword with little result. I think they are preventing me from finding a cave or passage to the end of the peninsula to encounter the witch. Any suggestions fighting these stone creatures or finding the cave/tunnel??
      Thanks
      Kurt

    • try completing other levels to get more mula and better weapons and armor. look in other topics for the location of the dwarven runic sword (arguably the best weapon you can get in this stage of the game) and try getting the elven full plate, sheild of stone, neckless os stone, elven gauntlets, etc. if you want directions to the place to get the dwarven runic sword, just say so and ill tell you (i didnt want to put it in this messege because im trying to let people "play the game for themselves" (my new year's resolution)

      Semi-spoiler alert:

if you wanna get good money for your extra armor and weapons, sell em at fungus's getaway or gwyden camp, they buy them for twice what the people in fantrima and berglum do.

The stone creatures are golems, and they are difficult at lower levels. I would suggest
avoiding fighting them, and instead run past them(have several potions in your inventory).
They don't move incredibly fast and you should be able to outrun them. Keep going west
until you reach a cave that has red demon dogs inside it. When you reach this cave you
are in the right place. The Witches Finger is through this cave(and it has 2 exits,
be sure to explore them both!).

And as with Gimli above, if you need more info, we can provide them.

      Good Luck
