...I don't get it. I understand I was being severely used by the Zidagar, but what exactly are they talking about?

Eh. Least favorite Strand. They have nothing too good to offer and they over-charge for fuel. I'll do the Azdgari next...

What do you mean by overcharging for fuel? Don't all ships charge about the same for fuel depending on how much money you have?

I suppose the Zidagar mission string was the least interesting of the three, but they still have cool ships.

BTW, I never really understood the Igadzra mission string (the joke?) either...

Oh well I don't know about refueling on planets, but as far as requesting fuel from passing ships, I think the Zidagar are the greediest... at least that's what I've noticed - they always ask about 20,000 credits so I always wait for someone else to ask for less.

What was the joke in the Igadzra string? I actually finished it today but don't remember... I just know they didn't piss my pilot off as much as the Zidagar did...

The joke was that the officer giving you the missions thought that the Zidagar were smugling weapons inside the purple river eels (zidagar delicacy). But was very wrong.

Zidagar are so poncy and crap! Go for the Azdgari, the only ones with a sense for good colours to paint ships, rather than purple or orange. Gawdy colours suck!

Mind you a Zidara is the easiest ship to kill the dreadnaught in...

Zidagar have the second best fighter in the game (Zachit fighter is the best) and one of the best ships ever, the Zidara.

Testing...Zidaras beat both Azdgari and Igadzra special ships in cost ratios (Zidaras can beat four Azdaras, which cost more than 1 Zidara, and not lose 20% shields, and two Zidaras trash an Igazra, sometimes even a single one - I saw one Zidara take out an Igazra and an Igadzra Arada).

Their beams rock, too, and any real fighter pilot knows how much 20 tons of space can mean.

The strands are pretty much well-balanced, but the Zidagar upgrades are the best of any strand. However, I don't particularly like the Zidara; take it out from long range with a Lazira...

Nah, RC, the joke was that now every thinks your pilot is the person who destroys planets, not the weapons that took the Igadzra a long time to set up. That's the point, that really the only objective the Igadzra had was to screw with your head.
