What makes you say that? Frontier Express and Stellar Corps are prospering in UE space. I see no indication of a creeping communism, unless you count the "universal Earth currency" thing. As for being greedy for power, how do you explain the fact that they let Huron go. (Well, you could say that it was because they could not handle the Renegade problem, but do you not think that if the UE was truly power-hungry, they would fanatically hld on to Huron, no matter what?)
What reason do the Voinian have for fighting the UE? Any? What did the UE do to provoke them?
As you know, I am pro-UE.
