    • EVO Glitch??


      I started playing EVO again after about a 1 year break...
      i have noticed 2 differences, the MAIN one is with the weapons...
      All of the players i had from when i played BEFORE my break, have the max ammount of guns AND turrets.. (i.e. if a ship allowed a max of 2 guns and of 2 turrets, he would have 2 guns and 2 turrets...)
      but now when im playing with new players or old players with a new ship... i can only have one or the other... (i.e. i am only able to buy 2 guns OR 2 turrets, and it says i can't have any of the other... and its not because i dont have enough space..)

      DOES ANYONE KNOW WHATS GOING ON???????????????????????????????????????????

      the other minor differnce is that UE ships that have "hunter missles" used to only shoot the hunder missles at relativly big ships, such as Voinian Cruisers.. Now they fire them at any ship, even kraits!!!!!
      (this doesnt bother me at all but it seems very ODD that their AI changed all of a sudden)

      CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME!?!?!

    • In answer to your questions...

      Peter Cartwright asked Matt Burch to make it so gun turrets took up a gun space, and a turret space. He didn't like the idea of players loading up on guns.

      The AI was also changed slightly for 1.0.2, so that's the reason it plays slightly differently.

      Actually, I don't think Matt Burch had anything to do with it. I believe Peter Cartwright just set the oütf resource flags to state that the turrets were both turrets and guns. As such, the change can be easily reversed using a plugin.

    • thats extreamly weird concidering i didn't download any patch or anything... that computer doesnt even have a connection to the internet!!!!!!!!!
