When I upgraded my copy of EVO to 1.0.2, it went without a hitch and was excited for a "new" version (haven't played in a long while).

but when i went to play, it said my pilot files couldn't be used cause they are from a previous version!! :mad:

that sucks, is there any work around or something to get the old pilot files to work for 1.0.2?

I just downloaded the entire new version, i wasn't sure if there was a specific updater (still not sure).

To my knowledge, there's no way to make 1.0.2 use a 1.0.0/1.0.1 pilot. You might, however, be able to construct a similar pilot using plugins or seant's editor.

Yeah, I've found PFE 3.0 to work very well. You can make a ship exactly like your old one. Don't know if you can read old pilot files with it, but if you can, you could theoretically flip all the mission bits from the old one. Unfortunately, that could take quite a while.
