Hello all
I ran into a problem and was wondering if anyone can help It's with the observe weirdos mission you get in dogover. I've been observing for a week now and gone to pareen like the mission says, but nothing happens

I landed on Dogover, met McPhereson in the bar, got a mission to observe the Weirdos in the Chorca system, then to return to Pareen. That's pretty much it.

I don't think so, my plug-in folder is empty, I did have ROTUE in a while ago though.

When i got to Chorca, there are four shuttlecraft that are labeled as "weirdos". they don't respond on the comm, they won't fight back, and they just float to the edge of the map.

Damit now you'll have me hunting for that mission, I really have never herd of that missi....... wait a minute are you SURE you havent got a plug in there? Cos I remember this plug, it changs(I don't know if you have ever done this mission) the mission that you get from the lgadzra, were you have to disabel this strange asteroid thing, wich looks like a shuttle.

Yeah, thats the mission from himgro to get the medicine for new calcutta. This is completely diffrent, but if nobody has heard of it, maybe something is going wrong. I don't have a plug in now, but i did a last week. maybe i've messed my copy up somehow.

That, my friend, is an easter egg in (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/~dsghosh/evosite/scw.html")SCW 1.1(/url). You cheat. 
Or, of course, if you're using SCW 1.0, that mission doesn't work. As your plug-in folder is empty, I'm guessing deleting the plug-in messed up the mission as well. Sorry, you just missed out on 5 million bucks.

That's because, as Kitty mentioned, the easter egg makes use of the rarely seen ship type, the Strange Asteroid, that shares a sprite with the shuttle but doesn't fight back.
