What Karma

Karma is a measure of a person's standing on the web boards; 0 is neutral, negative is bad, positive is good. Moderators can warn (lower karma) or praise (raise karma) people based on their posts. If your Karma has been affected by a moderator, you will be eMailed the details of why your Karma was affected, and by whom. If someone's Karma becomes too negative (-10 or worse), that person is banned from the web boards until a moderator raises their Karma.)
If you follow the web board guidelines, you will not have a problem with your Karma.

In addition to what Cashew said, whatever you do, don't try to get karma. Members often do this by posting rediculous spam of distracting the moderators. The exact opposite effect will occur, and you'll find yourself in the negatives. Behave yourself, (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/guidelines.html")read the web board guidelines(/url), and enjoy yourself. You're all set if you keep that in mind.

Karma isn't everything. You really should look at the quality of your posts.
And not the quantity. Be good, post good stuff, don't spam, and don't flam for no reason.
Follow the rules and you should become a model citizen of the boards in no time.------------------
Why is Star Wars so addictive? -
Karma is your measure of how your doing on the boards. Negative is bad positive is good.
If you are posting well, getting along, and helping out.
Don't expect it to come very quickly. It takes time to get karma. If your doing those things a moderator will come along and give you karma.
Don't go around the boards and focus on it. Just be nice.

Okay I'll look before I ask. I really appreciate all the help I've been getting from everyone though. I've looked at FAQ and couldn't find it so what is AIM?

**AIM is another term for AOL Instant Messenger.
