    • F-25...arrrg help!

I have a slight problem with the f-25 plug-in. I have completed all the introductory missions and the "explore the new galaxy" mission. Then when i landed on f-25 and they told me to go deal with the bomarii's enemy's. I went to bomarii and got the mission to find and destroy the empire warships. I found them in the gorgon system and destroyed them. I went back to bomarii and nothing happened, it showed i still had the mission. Any ideas?

      thanks!

    • i have just d/l'd the F25v20 and a new copy of EVO.

placed all plugins in EVO's plugin folder.

and i get the f25 splash screens but i start at SOL, and everything is like EVO.
this sounds like a nice mod, but is seriously lacking any documentation.

the DOC supplied said the Pilot Builder would set up a pilot file?

what do i need to do to start and play this mod?

Go to Station Pybin (it's in the southernmost Miranu system)

Yes, everything DOES look just like EVO, because it is a semi-TC, semi-expansion. (I say this because it greatly modifies the existing galxy somewhat by eliminating the Voinians. Therefore it cannot count as a pure expansion, and cannot count as a pure TC because it leaves most of the EVO galaxy intact.)

As for the Bomaarii missions, are you sure you are not supposed to go to the Xarnez system? Or maybe you could land on one of the Xarnez stations. That should do it. (I don't know, I'm stuck on the first Xarnez offensive mission.)

      God bless,

the first thing you have to do is land on earth and enter the bar
take the mission leave the bar
go back in to the bar and take the mission you get
than abbort the first mission (recruitment)
take off from earth and land again
now you do have a pilof fit for the game now just go to station pybin and follow the lead 😉
hope you enjoy the game i know i love it

now i've got a question myself
i've signed up to the webboard but i haven't had an e-mail with my password yet does anyone know what i did wrong?

    • The documentation for 2.0 is really awful. They need to include all the information from 1.4, rather than saying "Look how much better this one is than the old version".

You are correct: The documentation for 2.0 was insufficient because I made the mistake of assuming people playing it has also played the previous versions and understood what I was doing. This was an error: it seems more new players are playing it than old, so I apologize. I had actually written up a draft for a vastly expanded read-me with hints, clues, and a full explanation of the pilot builder but shortly after I left for college, my parent's computer died and with it died all data and documents I had for F-25. I believe I've got the two data files sitting on a floppy disk somewhere so there's a remote possibility I've still got the new documentation bumming around. If so, I could upload it this weekend when I go home.
