when i completed the miranu trade mission, all the systems hated me. for no apparent reason. does anyone know why? please

My simple theory is that you accidentally killed a Miranu crescent fighter somewhere... Miranu are known for getting offended easily...
easy thing to fix though, get a bounty hunting mission somewhere, go to the miranu systems, and kill the renegades that follow you.

I've also found that if you abort an MTC mission (or several), sometimes Blaga and a couple of nearby systems might dislike you. The solution is the same one Redchigh proposed - get a bounty hunting mission (check strandless worlds like Hizdriar, and look in the bar) and kill the few renegade ships that follow you around. Your legal rating will quickly jump back to the positive side.
