    • EV-Edit: Great, but I need HELP!

AHHHHH! Help! I have a problem: In EV-Edit, how do you make it so that you can connect new systems to existing ones?

    • Do NOT use EV Edit. It is notorius for corrupting files. Res-Edit, while obviously not as intuitive, is a better choice, and it actually isn't difficult.

By the way, there is a developer's board - you are sure to have more luck with this sort of thing there.

If you insist on using EV-Edit, try the help files that come with it. Sorry, I retired my copy so long ago I've forgotten how to link to existing systems, but there is a simple way.

A better solution is EVO Developers Map, a relible visual map editor, easier to use than ResEdit in that you can see where you are putting systems and spobs as you place them.It is available here:

if you have 3.2 click on the line tool and then slect a system then another one to connect
      same as to undo

EV edit is ok but i wouldn't use it
