No, see, that's the thing--I can beat it. I can destroy the thing in half a second sometimes, with my Crescent Warship, my many escorts, and the help of some Azdgari ships that happen to be there. It's just that when I land and then launch again, it's there again.

    • I suggest then checking the mission info to make sure you don't have to go to a different planet, if that doesn't work back up your file and try aborting the mission and getting it again.

I bet it'll run EVO fine, might have to give it more memory, but EVO's written so it'll be playable on all but the slowest comps. As long as it meets the requirments, it'll work fine.

Well if the requirements are 12mb and the powerbook has 16mb, I don't see why you'd need more ram...unless you plan to run a bunch of other stuff on it.

      P.S. How'd red become a Criminal?

First, you have to do the Miranu Diplomatic Relations mission. The strand missions start at Kitrak for the Igadzra, South Tip Station for the Azdgari, and Pozdag (I think) for the Zidagar.

    • first off, how do i quote a previous post. because i would like to comment about the post above from ES pilot. The reason i was wondering about the ram is because the OS takes ram also. So i was wondering if it would still run fine with 16mb of ram.

Click the reply button at the top of their message instead of the one at the bottom of the screen. Make sure to edit out extraneous text, so we all don't have to read it 😛

Correct. Note that you can only work for one strand. (Unless you do some complicated stuff that I'm not going to go into here. You're only supposed to work for one strand, anyway.) Save the game, and make a copy of the pilot file, before you accept a mission at any of the places David named... that we, if you're not happy with the strand you pick, you can always step back in time, and choose again.

Or play the game through several times... we did 🙂

    • what would you rather get after a helian? A Freight Courier or an Arada or would you get something else? I am thinking about going up from UE space and going to Miranu space because I can earn more money there. What is the quickest way to earn money in a helian? Thanks for the help.

Generally I get a freight courier then and arada(I like to get most ships).

The way I earn money in a helian is doing cargo missions and boarding renegades in the way, I believe that's the best way.

    • I'm having a problem with one of the Hinwar missions. I met the alien on the captured Voinian outpost and took him to his planet; all well and good. I meet Commander d'Erion and take his Marines to the Gualon system, fight off all the Voininans in the system and drop the Marines off on the station.

However, the mission still shows up as uncompleted. I can land on Gualon station - the station shows up as friendly, the planet does not. I've tried going back to Outpost Alpha; nothing. I assume the Marines succeeded; did the attack on Obron fail? What do I need to do to complete the liberation of Gualon?
