    • evo is addictive

I have played the game at a friends house and got hooked, I even bought a mac computer just to play it and I got it for less than buying the crap emulator executor, sorry I know this is probly innapropriate for the board but I'm jus real excited 🙂

well for something relavant to this web board, is there anything special you get from doing renegade missions?

    • First I'd have to agree with all of you, and I think I'll eventually have to get a mac when Nova comes out :).

About the Renegade missions - no you don't get anything special, except for a planet becoming uninhabited in each case, and Renegades that don't kill you as a matter of course, but that's only in those 1 or 2 systems and it's easy to get them angry again.

    • You're right; EV:O is highly addictive, but the great thing is that there is a mass of bite-sized missions and sub-missions, so you can easily play for either 10 minutes or two hours. Just land before you quite, and you won't have lost any progress. (Playing any computer game for more than two hours at a stretch could seriously damage your eyesight, and maybe other aspects of your health.)

In answer to the question: no... I don't think there are any unique outfits that you obtain as a result of siding with the renegades.

Well, technically it's no worse than working at a computer all day, which many employees have to do. The main thing is to be sure to rest your eyes from time to time by focusing on distant objects. Of course, it's a good idea to get out and take a walk or something if you've played for a long time - there tend to be health related consequences when one's most strenuous activity for the day is reaching down to turn on the computer.

Not that I have any experience playing EVO for more than two hours at a stretch, of course. 😉
