So.... I was cruisin' along in my little Crescent Warship, and I was thinking... you know, I really don't know what an all around useful secondary is....
Can anyone suggest one and give reasons?
Regular rockets are no good, my aim blows, and reloading is hard, cuz I don't spend much time in UE space. Same for Hunter.
Dispersal are alright, but I find myself once again admitting that my aim blows. Pursuit missiles are decent, but they don't do much damage. As for SAE's and SAD's... well, they don't seem to work.
Oh, that puts me on a side rant.
Why, oh why, even when I have jamming systems, do the enemies SAE's and SAD's seem to work so freakin' well??? Whenever a bounty hunter attacks me, you can be damn sure that his (or her) modules will connect with me. I try to fire some SAE's and they float out of my ship at 2 MPH in the opposite direction of the enemy. Problem is, I think human controlled SAE/D's forget the "search" part
Anyway, back on track. It seems to me that the only decent universal secondary is some kind of fighter bay. But, still, unless you wanna go with a certain governement's battleship (UE cruiser, Voggy Cruiser, Aggy Warship, etc) there's no way to get the more useful fighter bays....
