i have destroyed the dreadnaut and saved the hinwar and i have done stuff with the zanta (you know) i have exsplored the nebulas. But is there eny more work with the UE? or the emagla and hinwar? i dont want to join the strands or all that stuff.

Why?
If you've gone through to the end of the Hinwar section - it says you've completed a central objective.. then no there is no more to the main UE mission line outside of plugins. But there are other worthwhile mission strings within UE space if you haven't done them - for the needle jammer or UE Cruiser for instance....
Otherwise it sounds like you've done everything outside of the strand section, but no you can't end the game - only complete the central objectives as something similar - but you can fly around forever, dominating planets and things if that makes it feel more conclusive :).
There is no real end to the game. There are three central objectives; exploring the nebulae, pushing back the Voinians and destabilising the Strand War.
There are various other, minor mission sets. Have you worked with the Zacha, to reduce the renegade menace? Helped an entrepreneur to introduce skiing to the Miranu?
...but basically, if you don't want to join the Strand war, you're done. It's time to visit the add-ons page and get some plugs to extend the game. I recommend 'Beyond the Crescent' for starters. If you want a big plug, consider the excellent 'Frozen Heart'.
You should make a backup of your pilot file before embarking on any plugins... then you can do what you like! Some are better than others. Of course, you can use copies of your pilot file to try working for each strand too... see if you like one of them.
I'd also recommend starting a new pilot file and joining the Voinians next time. That's great fun. (Get the 'Reign of the Voinians' plugs.)

You have to begin the strand missions to destablise the strand war. The missions start for the Igadzra at Kitrak, for the Zidagar at Pozdag, and for the Azdgari at South Tip Station in the Areyhek (sp?) system. After doing quite a few missions for them, found at various different places, you can finally give the strand that you work for a large edge in the war. The pay for the missions is very high, but the missions themselves are very difficult.
If you work for the Igadzra, you can download my plugin, the Igadzra Beam, which allows you to use a weapon seen in the Zidagar mission string after the respective Igadzra missions (it's not a cheater), (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/vftp/show.pl?product=evo&category;=plugins&display;=date&page;=1")here(/url).

Actually, a way to really get into the game is to work for everybody. The way you do that is build up you combat rating by killing Renegades and don't do any UE missions, not even cargo. Once you have an OK cr, go to Pax and get the Voinian string. Do all the Voinian missions until you get the very last one, to destroy Verril Prime. Abort this mission and you can still do the UE missions. But before you start the UE missions, go to Lothe Prime and get them mad, then land and go to the bar. A Renegade should ask you to help him or somethim, thus starting the Human Renegade missions. When you have finnished those go do the UE missions. The only Voinian ships you will have to kill will be for missions, and for some reason, the Voinians don't get mad if you kill those ships. Once you have completed the UE central objective, both the UE and Voinians, as well as the Human Renegades will love you. Now go do the Nebula missions and the ski resort missions, as well as those for the Zachit. Once you have finnished these, go do missions for the strands. To be able to be a part of all 3 strands, you will need to be very carefull. Go to Pozdag and get the Zidigar mission, but don't complete it. Then go to Mirava(?) and get the Igadzra mission, don't complete this either. Finally go down to South Tip Station to get the Azdgari mission (you will need a fast ship). Complete the Azdgari mission first (since it has a time limit) then finnish the other two. Once all of these missions are done, get the second mission in each string, and, once you have all the missions, complete them. Do the same right up through each sides victory. Doing this will cause everybody to love you and will also allow you to have a pretty cool ship. Right now I am flying a Voinian cruiser with Dospect and Bronev armor, a UE cloaking device, needle missile jammer, SAE launcher, Zidigar Phased Disruptions beam, Zidigar ECM, Azdgari RCS upgrade, Azdgari shield regenerator, Azdgari experimentla generator, Nebula penetration device, Zidigar miniaturization thing, Igadzra plasma siphon, and all the other usual things, including as many mass expansions as I can by. It is great fun having almost all the galaxy like you (except north and south tip renegades) and flying this ship is truly awesome.
