How do I order my escorts to attack a specific target? I remember I have done this before but I forgot how to do it again.

**You can't get your escort-escorts to attack anyone specific. They just have their own battle plan and they go after whomever they want.
Like Blackdog said, though, you can order your fighter-escorts (that come out of your own fighter bay) to attack a specific target by selecting that target (tab) and then pressing 'F' (default)...

Actually, there is a way I found to make all the escorts take on a certain taget, I found it when I had 5 UE destroyer escorts, and I wanted them to take on a Crescent Warship. I was in a UE fighter, btw.
I jumped in the system, and pressed V right away. Then, whatever taget i wanted them to attack, I would lure it to my fleet, which was huddled together. when the CW was right over them, i pressed 'C' and they all attacked it. I think they always take whatever ship fires on them, so the CW's phase was hitting the escorts the second I pressed 'c'. I know, its kind of confusing, but maybe it helps.------------------
