    • Id say the best way to defeat the dreadnaught is this: Go to Outpost Alpha, go to the bar, and get the missions to destroy a voinian warfleet/supply convoy. You get more than enough ships to take out the dreadnaught and the extra voinian warships.

Also, i thought it was impossible to get the Anna B. missions (and the UE Cruiser) before u destroyed the dreadnaught.

If its not forced, ill do it!

    • I just use a UE Cruiser with all upgrades and a ton of rockets. hasen't failed for me yet. The cruiser is pretty easy to get after you get a decent combat rating.

      and pc's are insignificant others!!!

    • The Dreadnaught is overrated. I know many people look down on the Monty Python, but it's a valid military tactic. Look at the Mongol invaders of the thirteenth century. They had small bows for use on horseback and often fought by running away with the cavalry while shooting backwards at the enemy. It works even better if you leave escorts stationed at the edge of the system and lead the enemy into them. Escorts are expendable.

    • Take out the dreadnaught's fighters but do not destroy them. Let the UE destroyers do there thing while you capture 6 V interceptors. Them launch all your fighters and attack all at once. I he is not dead them pull back and put the 45 hunters that you have in him. Then he's dead.

    • On a slightly bragging note, I managed to destroy the Dread Prototype with no escorts or UE help at all, in naught but a chunked up UE fighter... I love Dospect Armour.

My latest tip: Ask french taxi drivers the way to the nearest brothel in a very loud clear voice.

    • It's been a while, but I found my own way of beating the dreadnought.
I think I had a UE cruiser at the time, some big but fairly agily ship anyway, and I simply went to one of the ... um ... more humble places of the galaxy and bought a mine layer and a bunch of space mines.
I let my cruiser escort take care of the general hubbub, and after I had let about ten mines drift into the 'nought, it caved in. Nice and clean 🙂

Heh... a UE Cruiser, pride of the UE government, using illegal weaponry in combat with the Voinians? You may have just set human-Voinian relations back by thirty years... 😉
