Yes I love being a mod, having to waste 30 to 60 minutes of my time deleting posts evertime a spammer shows up is great fun. As well as reading every post to make sure no one is violating the rules.
It is also pleasent to have people hate you simply because you are a mod, yet give no justifications for why they don't like you or what you are doing.
The EVO boards have enough moderation as it is though.

Wow, that does sound like fun! I'm sure Carno would say the same thing.
It is sad how many members push hatred toward the moderators without really knowing them, however...Nobody seems to realize the large amounts of time and effort the moderators put into keeping these forums clean and online, all for us. On another note, thanks for all the work you've done for us spoiled members.

Of course, if these moderators feel that there time is being badly spent, they could always hand the title over to some of the fanatics on these boards that read every post anyway....

You probably don't want to find out the hard way. Andrew is very busy, so anyone requesting moderation when not necissary will likely regret it...

I don't think he's THAT mean. I sent him a polite email asking if it was possible to set up a time to come visit ASW and just didn't get any response. I think he realizes most of our ignorance of just how busy he is. After all, we spend all our time on this thing.

Ok folks, I know what happened with Jude. All you need to know, and honestly, is that Jude and andrew had a huge disagreement. Unfortunatly they could not compromise and agree on something.
Jude felt so strongly about it that she refused to have anything to do with ASW until her "points" were met. So she left.

If andrew wants to tell why, then he is welcomed to. For certain reasons I'd rather not say exactly what happened, because I feel people will bug andrew about it - wanting to be a mod themselves. I'll say this much, it was the result of a long discussion (no, not about me being a mod) and difference between us.
