      OK, I found the book and returned it to the learning tree. I was told I could go to the first level of the the tree. Nothing there?? Dah... Also, I'm trying to find the camp I always come to the sign that says its north, I keep going north and keep running into trees that I can't go through and everytime I try to go around them I end up back at the learning tree? What am I doing??

      Did you make it up the steps into the tree? There is a book and a person who you can ask questions of.
      As for Gwyden camp, I think it is NW of the sign. I haven't been that way in awhile, I always use the tunnels.

      Thanks Mike, I'll try that. I have gone up the steps but haven't seen anyone. Could be because I'm on the Demo. I've ordered the CD because my server is toooo slow to download the full version.

      Inside the tree theres a chest with potions and a map with a book near one of the windows that you can ask questions to. It should be in the demo.

      Thanks, I'll go try again. I know there have been places, including the tree, that when I try to go there it tells me I can't search there because I'm unregistered (even though I've been given a Registration Code)??? Let me go try it again.

      Yeah, there have been a couple of issues with that. Usually, quitting out and starting it up again does the trick.

      Hey, Ellen, don't feel bad! I could never figure out what the point of the first visit to the learning tree was either. I kept asking questions of the woman inside there, and she kept telling me she knew nada! I also can't figure out what on earth to do with the tunnels...

      I have now gotten to the second level of the learning tree, and have gotten a cryptic message about "the order of the seasons", and can't figure out what I am supposed to do with that one either...

      Right now, the swamp monsters are killing me, but at least I got strong enough to get there and get killed! Some progress!

      I managed to kill all the ookwasps, or whatever, so the lumberjacks could build their dang bridge, but otherwise am hoping I can figure out how to get out of the swamp avoiding those creepies tomorrow. The only way I can see is to do a lot of running from them, and hoping not to get cornered! That swamp is a big disaster!

      It is a fun game... but I am also confused!

      I've gotten to Pathfinder. Found the Knight, etc. On my way to the North when....My laptop died, went to Apple Hospital and I'm starting over on my Tower!! Talk Bummer! I remember where most things were, but where the heck is the missing kid? I kept thinking the kid was located where to book was....Dah???

      The tunnels are just forms of fast transportation. They'll become much more valuable as you go farther.

      Try looking up "Order of Seasons" in the book...

      I would bring a lot of potions (I can never remember the name for the 40hp ones, which were the ones I used), and be prepared to use them liberally, particularly against the Death Knight.

      You can run from the creepies that are in the swamp just fine, but once you get to the cave, you have little choice but to fight. See my advice above.
