Allright. You guys probably get this a lot, but I've been playing this game for a couple of weeks and here's the situation.

1. I've got a Crescent Warship with neutrom cannons and a bunch of other bells and whistles.

2. I've completed one central objective, that is, I helped the Emalghians capture Romit while helping d'Erlon capture what is now Outpost Sigma and the Hinwar free their world. The Voinians are pushed back, but are still there and annoying.

3. I know there is another central objective because I messed with it in a trial game, where you explore the two nebulae for the scientists on Priat.

4, Also when I messed around in the first game I got two of the three Strand races mad at me for helping the third on a mission. I keep getting messages of "Don't choose sides in the Strand War!" That's why I started over, and I haven't chosen sides since. I've had some hunch that if I get all the Strands to like me then some mission with the Council will open up.

5. I've completed a number of smaller missions like building the ski resort on that Miranu world, getting Paaren station up and running (obviously), rescuing that Anna chick from the Freeport pirates, destroying "The Rock" with the Zachit, and destroying the pirates on Pariah.

Here are my questions, thank you in advance for any help.

1. How do I get the Priat scientists to send me on that nebula exploration. Everytime I go to a bar on a Miranu world they keep wanting to send me to Igadzra with purple eels, but that will piss off the Azdgari and the Zidagar.

2. Do I have to choose sides in the Strand war in order to get things moving? Does that mean I have to accept the purple eels mission in order to get the nebula exploration mission? If so, am I then committed to one side, or can I appease them again later?

3. That would make two objectives, is there a third or more? What do I need to do to get them going? What other objectives are there?

4. How do I beat the Voinians for good? I can't get the UE to do anymore missions.

5. How do I get to destroy more pirate worlds? I tried to make Hrekkia pay tribute and I fought their defense force for over an hour before I realized the game was not going to let me, just like Ruby on EV1. Is there another Zachit mission against Hrekkia?

6. I found some station in Azdgari space that says the Council put it there to prevent going beyond the Crescent. How do I go beyond the Crescent? What is up with the Council? Is there some mission that involves them?

You MUST decide which one of the strands to side with. You can't work for all three of them, or even two.

Yes. By ending the strand war. Again, you MUST take any side. By helping that side, you shift the balance and will ultimately lead one side to victory, completing another Central Objective.

You can't. That's what plug-ins are for.

No, you can't destroy pirate worlds, or any worlds for that matter. You can complete missions which remove pirates, Voinians, etc from CERTAIN worlds.

This was made for plug-in designers to have fun with. You can't do anything in the normal game to go "Beyond the Crescent". Although you can get a plug in of that name to do so

BTW: It is nice to another okie here. I lived in Norman last year, and shall return in the fall...

i need some help. i what 2 side with the Igadzra i have tranported the purple river eels to Igadzra and then i was given a mission to INTERCEPT CARGO: Intercept a cargo of purple river eels being transprted thought the GRIVOK system by a Miranu tader. BUT there is not a system called GRIVOK. a system name ner would be good or what part of the map.
please help!!!

First, go north to Notil. Then go west to Mehpit. Then go west to threefrog. Then go north west to DSN-4111, then go north to Psadt. Then go north to Sirabor. Then go NW to Stror. Then go North to Vethair. Then go NW to Grivok and attack the "target Vessel" and you are there!

If you haven't, go to Mira and go to the bar, and there should be a mission where you send some message from Imir (a Miranu) to the UE capital. After you do that, go to Priat and go to the Station Pybin bar. They ask you to retrieve something from Igadzra if I remember correct, and you go down to a new research facility in one of the systems between human renegade space and South Tip Strandless space. You can continue the missions from then on without help I believe.

First off, what purple eel mission? I know that you can make big money shipping purple eels from Kitrak to Zidagar since the eels are VERY high-priced on Zidagar. Secondly: Yes you have to choose sides with a Strand if you wanna have all objectives done.

First: Yes there are more objectives. You can do the Voinian missions, you can do the Renegade missions (human and North Tip) and you can do a Strand mission string. Secondly: Get Reign of the UE. I won't post a 'quote /quote' thing again because all this copy/pasting is beginning to annoy me. About your Council question: what Soviet mikee said I agree with. You can also get something called 'Universe next Door' (UND).

I know about the investigating of the Zidagar transporting river eels to their home planet, but he was talking about 'delivering river eels' to the Igadzra, or something of that sort. I've never heard of, nor come across a mission like that in all the 3 years I've been playing EVO.

Ok. I was mistaken about the eels mission. I accepted the mission from Imir and it turns out it was a mission to take classified stuff to the Igadzra. This leads into the Priat scientist / nebula exploration objective. I thought that it involved the river eels because I got it mixed up with an earlier mission I did in my first game.

I've since completed the nebula exploration and am in the middle of helping out the Zidagar. From dealing with the three Strands, the Zidagar seem like the closest thing to the "good guys." The Igadzra never talk and they betray the Miranu on the nebula exploration objective. The Azdgari just seem plain wicked from the descriptions of them and the way they deal with the Miranu as well. The Zidagar seem to like the Miranu and tend to act the most human. So, I'm helping them to win the Strand war. Right now I'm at an impass though. I attacked the Igadzra on Mark and have helped Sassone become a big hero, but what now? Everytime I go into a Zidagar bar they either send me into a battle or send me on an escort mission with the Miranu. Where do I go to get the strand war resolved (from the Zidagar perspective)? It's my last objective. Then I'll start over and go be a pirate or try to help the Voinians if I can.

Well, first of all, if you want some even more information on how the Zidagar

For the missions, probably look around Zidagar planet a lot. I'm sorry - I can't
help you much, but hey, if nobody replies in more detail before you look, and you
have time to try it out, it might be worthwhile.
