I ran into a Miranu freighter and he told me to watch out for strange things that lurk in the Ji nebula. Are there any cool things there???

actually yes. below the ji about 4 jumps there is an alien race called the emalhga (im not sure about spelling) and they too are at war with the voinians. you go through a number of missions with them.
