2 questions

1. the ji nebula missions - there's this big fatty nebula out there, and no way to get to it that i can see - how does one get the ji nebula missiong going
   and
2. the ski resort missions...ok, so, i' m searching for a lost freighter...searching..searching... i think i've covered the routes that i've taken back and forth to UE space about 5 times, as well as then playing the zachit missions on the side...where is das freighter (note: i searched a LONG time before asking this one)

oh, and on the topic of the zachit missions (The addon) once one destrys the fleet at herekka, but the troops fail to take the base...is that it, or does that cryptic 'give our operative time' message actually mean anything, as in, can you come back later for more missions. just wonderin'

You can get the nebula penetration mission in Miranu space (various systems) after you've completed the diplomatic relations mission and I think you might have to have completed the MTC recruitment mision. It'll take the form of a mission in the bar where you are asked to deliver a special load of cargo to the Igadzra in return for 500,000 credits.

As for the freighter, I believe you can find it somewhere just south of inhabited Miranu space, I don't remember the exact system.

If you've already explored the Proxima Nebula and been told to go look at Ji, you can get into it from the Hrekka system, or from Kelmaon or DSN-1469 just west of Kirrim. The Freighter for the Ski missions is located in the Smott system, just south of Priat - hope that puts you out of your misery :).

Unless you're doing the nebula exploration job in a Miranu courier, take a fuel scoop!
If you have no room for a fuel scoop, take at least an escape pod.
(Escorts may also be released from servitude and then begged for assistance if fuel runs out.)
You wouldn't believe how many players mess up their pilot by getting him stranded at this stage in the mission.

Alternatively you can just side with the Igadzra and get their Plasma Siphon with Fuel Scoop ability. And another good one is to get a bounty hunting mission - then the renegade ships you're to kill will follow you all through the Nebulae - obviously they're more advanced than we thought :), and you can keep killing them for free fuel.
