Work on the Arc is going smoothly, and will be completed next post.
Here's the specifications:
100m, 40m wide, 30m deep, in the basic shape of a sailing ship but smoother and
coloured the same as Seiken ships, in a bright white. Armed with sun based weapons
as well as two phase turrets which provide some unnecessary protection. It uses the
Sol Cannon for the most part, which is nearly as powerful as Shock and doesn't have
a proper recharge but can run out during some very long battles that take place
outside of the range of the Sun - the range being quite long. The Arc can also explode
suns, although this takes about 2-3 posts to accomplish and disables all other functions. Another weapon used is the Solar Flare, will encases enemies with a very powerful damage. It is about 10 times more powerful than the Sol Cannon and hits multiple targets over a remarkably long range - just short of standard projectile ranges. It can bend waves to hide itself, although it can't do this perfectly in hyperspace, as there is more space to cover and less time. If it concentrates on one function it can work in hyperspace, though. It can also bend transmissions waves, signals, sensors, etc (but it can't do things such as hi-jack messages, just make it so they don't work for the user), and the whole ship works within a state just outside normal temporal flux. Although this gives it no time based advantage, it does mean that it attacks from a different angle in space-time, and anything that bends through or even completely avoids normal space-time is still effected by the Arcs weaponry. The flux between normal space-time and void means that the Arc is unreliable in some aspects, and it is not advised for long use. Instead it is best carried or towed by other ships for a while, to keep the solar engines from overheating and exploding over long term use, which could happen if the Arc was forced to work for about a week straight, sucking in new solar energy the same time it expends it. The rate it sucks in solar energy is quite extraordinary, and it's engines allow it to concentrate the energy it receives to travel at phenomenal speeds - light speed being the normal cruise speed and an even faster speed for normal hyperspace, about 1/3 of a day for one "jump".
I would be happy to extend the completion date back two or three posts if you think I have made the ship too fast, but bear in mind that it is small and has several disadvantages in that a) numerous missiles could swarm over it, tachyon sensors would know what it was about to do, c) it can be destroyed quickly by warships.
