I remember a mission where you capture Vorik and it becomes Grenits... If there is a mission to do this the could someone tell me how to get it?

That mission string begins at Emalgha, in northern Voinian space.

You don't actually capture Vorik in the game as standard - it remains a lone Voinian system beyond their new frontier really.. I think it should have been abandoned after the Hinwar revolts.

What happens is that the player assists with an attack on Avann, which is then destroyed - Outpost Theta is abandoned and Omicron set up in Grenits as a result. They could have come even closer I reckon :).

It happens in the Emalgha part of the UE missions, and starts at the bar in Gurado when you have done enough.

or you could just demand tribute and get it, then you have captured it, well sort of...

Could you possibly be talking about "Reign of the UE," which starts in the Grenits system and involves the capture of Vorik?

Or maybe he means the end of the UE string where you help the Hinwar. But I think that might have been a different system.
