Alright, the logo is for, hmm...lets say its "Red Diamond Tournaments" and its a system where players enters a tourney by giving an entry fee, and the winner of the tourney gets the pot of everybodys entry fees. The best made logo wins.

So...let's say 'Red Diamond Tournaments' is your company, and you get all these logos and get to choose the best and pay him a good load of cash, none of it out of your pocket. Either this is a rather sad scam that belongs in Flatty's topic on the B&B;, or i don't understand the situation. So which is it?

Maybe the words werent too clear. Gambling in the tourney is the point of the thing the logo is for, I mentioned it in case a participant wanted to include the topic in the logo.

Your smart rooster, I'll give you that. Yes, Red Diamond Tournaments is actually a little project I'm working on. Since I wasn't really good enough with graphic design yet to make a good looking logo, and I don't know anybody who is, I posted a halfway phony logo contest to get a logo for the website. I would've givin full credit though. And actually, it was basicly a challenge to all the ppl who think they're the best graphic designer to prove it.
I get a feeling I'll get my karma lowered or this topic closed real fast...

No, i think this should keep on going. What would make it legitimate is if more people put in requests for logos into the contest, and then people could just choose which they want to make and it wouldn't all be for you. A help-each-other-out thing. No money though :). If you want to do that, then here's mine:
I'm an amateur graphics designer, but i don't really have the resources to do what some of you can. I need a logo for the EVEA Webstory Council (Escape Velocity Epic Adventures). It needs to somewhat relate to the EVO style and maybe some webstory relation too. Thanks to anybody that wants to help.
But hey, it's just a thought. I think it would be good for the community.
