Okay, I'll make this clear from the start. I'm not including Zachit Aradas or any
Zidagar Aradas in plug-ins, or any other Aradas at all.

I was just wondering which of the Aradas is better. I almost always see them disable
each other - the Azdgari Arada uses heavy firepower to disable the Igadzra Arada,
and then in turn gets disabled by a bunch of SAEs that had been floating around.

Please...... I don't mean enhanced Azdgari Arada....

The Azdgari Arada wins. It's fast and powerful enough to kill the Iggies, and will a reasonable pilot can evade SAE's.

speaking of being over 400... heh.

Anyway... yeah, AI v AI, I believe that they're almost even. But, that goes to show how smart AI actually is. I think that if two human pilots of the same skill went up against each other in those ships, the Aggy Arada would win. The SAE's are no threat from the Iggies, and the Aggy ship is much faster and more manuverable (sp?)... I also believe it has a faster shield recharge rate??

Actually, human vs human, the Igadzra would win. SAEs ARE a major threat, and
the Igadzra could just fly away and open fire.

I'd take you up on this challenge, but there's no EVMP :frown:.

SAE's are floating circling pieces of crap that can't hit anything. And they aren't forever. The Aggy would be able to fly away from them and make them either hit an asteroid or just disappear eventually. Then the Aggy could open a can of whoopass on the Iggy. The Aggy could just do random fly by hit and runs and wait until their shields recharge to do it again.

I'm pretty sure the human Iggy would bite the dust.

If we played multiplayer, I'd win.

I'd just save the SAEs until you got too close to run - at close range they'd
deal out more damage than your rocket and phase firepower.

Whenever I see these two kinds of Aradas duke it out 1 on 1 the Azdgari Arada always seems to win because the SAE's never hit and the Iggy Arada isn't smart enough to dodge dispresals, which all AI Aggy Aradas usually have, and the Iggis are slower.

We've all told you how much SAE's suck. They can be decent when there are NO asteroids around, but otherwise, they're useless. And if I did the

SAEs are great! Well, against Warships anyway. With the Aradas you've usually taken them out with primary fire before any SAEs you launched get to them.
