Unfortunately im stuck with a damn PC and an emulator (Executor) to play EV/O. But i cant get EVO to work!!!!!! I tried upping the emulated RAM but that wont work either. Any suggestions, like a fix or better emulator??

Depends on what emulator you are using. Someone fill my blank on what the name is of that good emulator you can get. Hmmmm, cant think of it. Of course you could solve this problem with one solution. Get a Mac. Isn't that original???

I'm using Executor and it's okay, just no sound and crashes 'unexpectedly' every so often. What exactly do you mean by it doesn't work? It doesn't load at all? Or the screen just doesn't update so you can't play? If the latter, press alt-shift-5 when you get into it, and change the screen update to animation instead of.. what it is otherwise - then you should be set :).
yeah i can enter my ship, but the screen will only update when i look at my map or talk to someone. i tried pressing alt + **** + 5 all over the place but nothing came up.

Unfortunatly? What do you mean unfortunatly? Oh well, I wont get going with that. ROM Image Files are tricky things, theres a chance the one you have is out-dated by emulator. And theres an equal chance that the ROM Image File you have is too up-to-date. I don't know about Executor, but Fusion, for example, takes only 512k and 1mb image files.

You know, you might seriously consider getting an older Mac, you can probably pick on up that will run EVO for less that $100. Hell, I ran it on a Quadra 700 well, and I think those run as cheap as $30 in some places. Getting a Keyboard, mouse and and adapter and you can enjoy all the other Mac games out there as well.

Hey, if you're still interested in sliding wth your peecee for a while, why not switch emulators from Executor to Basilisk II? It does require a ROM image and a copy of the Mac OS, but I have a legal ROM image I could send you from an old Quadra 650, plus a disk image that has a minimal System Folder for Mac OS 8.0. Also, Basilisk is more stable and it's also comaptible with more Mac programs since it relies on an actual copy of the OS. The latest version is very stable on Windows 98, 2000, and NT. If you're interested, I'd be willing to help you out with everything step-by-step. It's totally free, too, so I'd take advantage of it. Hope everything works out whichever road you take.

Thats what the name of the good emulator was. Fusion, many of my PC friends use it and have had no problems with it whatsoever! Pick it up, but if you cant find it I can mail it to you no problem!
