Try using the arada for the early adzgardi missions. A good bit of credits could help too. Be sure to equip 2 extra fuel tanks!

I'd say the Miranu Courier is the best for that first mission - then you don't have to stop for fuel at all.

or you could get a few fuel scoops and a few extra fuel tanks. And if it isn't on south tip station it's around there. So keep looking, and if nothing happens maybe you have to help a different string.
