    • Personally,I never really cared.I feel that there are already too many polls on the board.

    • Outpost Zachit. Why? Oh I don't know. 'Cause I like it?

    • Freeport...

    • Favorite planet/station? I'd have to say Kayia.

A hatch opened up and the aliens said,
"We're sorry to learn that you soon will be dead,
But though you may find this slightly macabre,
We prefer your extinction to the loss of our job."

    • Mira. Why? It's got pretty much every upgrade buyable, in safe space. Unless you're a renegade.

    • I like Paaren Station. Whenever there is a mission there I am just compelled to take it. Its something I can't possibly resist against. I think it has something to do with the attraction to those Voinian Neutron Turrents....

I personally think polls make the board interesting. If you don't like them then don't reply.

Absolutely, polls are the spice of life.

    • Huron. I don't know why.

    • I'd have to agree with Beefpile. Mira is by far my favorite planet in the Escape Velocity Galaxy. Aside from the fact that just about every upgrade on the game can be purchased there, it is more or less neutral territory, since you can take sides in the Strand War and the UE-Voinian War and still be able to land. I have never seen a hostile ship in the Miranu system (except for the time I played the game as a Renegade). The Miranu seem like a friendly people, and the views over the ocean are just breathtaking.

This is certainly a long way off, but should the races in the Galaxy ever decide to form a massive Confederation, perhaps to fend off another more vicious common foe in the future, Mira would be the perfect capital.

My favorite station? I probably spend the most time at Paaren Station, since I can buy all those cool, flashy, Voinian upgrades there. But whenever I see a mission heading to Council Station I take it. I guess I just love the eerie, mysterious atmosphere that surrounds it. 🙂

I think maybe the Rock. Why? Because it would be cool to live in an asteroid 😄

    • As others have said, Mira is one of the best planets. It's peaceful, and you can buy almost all of the Crescent's technology there. The position is not the most convenient, but the saftey and sophistication makes up for that.
I don't spend much time on any stations except Zachit Station, but I always thought Svass Station was pretty cool.

    • Probably Vastan IV - it was the first place I ever found that had a whole bunch of new stuff, ie. crescent outfits.. and I often go there first for ECM and systems upgrades for a new pilot.

      ------------------

    • F-25. It is a new, untamed world, on the boarders of the reachable galaxy. That or Voinia. (Who wouldn't want to live on a toxic, contaminated planet inhabited by xenophobic aliens?)

    • It appears I forgot my favorite station. Zachit Outpost. Why? Decent tech, Zachit Missions, good battles, and it feels good to defend a Miranu Freighter from that frightening Arada. Don't you think? 🙂

    • Hmm.. station - probably Paaren Station, the most beneficial to humankind.. or Atlantic Station, the most pointless in the galaxy, along with Zanati Refinery.

Huh? I don't seem to recall that one, but maybe I'm just senile. I like Crescent Station, it's even more mysterious than Council Station, and it's the only thing standing between me and the rest of the galaxy. Also, the Council forced the Azdgari to build it, and any time someone bosses around the Azdgari, I'm pleased. I HATE THE AZDGARI.

The last time I was on this board, the price of dumb questions was really high.

    • I believe Levo is in the original EV, but not EVO. If I remember correctly, it's the planet you start from.
