Look at Earth today, divided and fighting eachother. But if a alien attack suddenly happend (I'm aware it sounds weird and unrealistic, but if it did), the Earth's nations and military forces would join together and (eventually) become friends. Give people something to unite against, and unite they do (for refrence, read 1984). LoL.

Well, I can ask a few more questions. How good is this racE? If the adds and iga and igs are soo scared that their race will be wiped out, and they fell forced to unite, what good will it do? They would send all their ships to the battle fronts. if i understand this right, the other race just jumped in from some far away place. Why can't they just jump in to world that have no deffence?

A question here as well, how are the outfits of the ships going to go. Is there going to be a ship with a zidgar phase beam, aggy shields, and iggy...(what exactly do the iggys have? lol). Hmmm...or maybe that could be part of the plot, transporting plans/scientists/etc. for that type of combo ship to be created.

No, there's only going to be new ships for the new race. They aren't great, but they are pretty good. And when the Strands unite, they are going from the saying: "The enemy of my enemy is also my friend." They will stay united even after they wipe out the Lismar (if they do, I haven't decided). And you can join the Lismar if you want, but they won't get far, maybe they take over 3-4 systems. No matter what, the three Strands will unite, no matter which side you choose.

I don't really know what I am doing. But the Strands will unite quickly because of the Lismar. They might be fighting together, but that doesn't mean that they are nice to each other.

I guess that makes scence. I combo ship of the three would be unfair and make the Gadzaira probably win easily. Unless, of course, the Lismar have equal or better of the same outfits.

Oops Guess I have to give one free, too :). No, actully, the Lismar don't have great outfits, but they copied the design to the Phased beam, Phase turret and swivel cannons. Does everyone agree that I should call the three Strands should be called Gadzaira?

Gadzaira sounds like it was thrown together in 5 minutes, IMHO. Though I don't have an alternative, how about something totally different? How about United Crescent Regime, or something like that? Ofcourse, your plug-in, so I guess its your call...

Well if it is to be Gadzaira, they should really get back to the original home on Gadzair, which should be the end result, or should happen before they do over the Lismar. In fact, another thought.. after you go to Council Station you should be given permission to hyperspace past Kade with Crescent Station, in order to investigate something, and when you find the Lismar you have to go back and then are told to visit the 3 strand homeworlds and bring representatives back to Gadzair to discuss the situation. And then Gadzair can become an inhabited planet again, and maybe, overnight? it and all the strand systems will take on Gadzaira government... does this mean that the player will have access to all the strands' technologies / ships? Maybe not the player, but the strands could share stuff so that when they all go to attack the Lismar they have the best ships for the job :).
Oh well that's all top-of-the-head stuff - make of it what you will :). Do you have an idea of about how many new systems there will be for Lismar?

martiNZ- that is basically the plot of the plug-in. But, the governments agree too quickly, perhaps I'll make a twist like some planets break away. And I didn't think about making Gadzair the home planet again hmm that's something to ponder.
Right now I've done all of the VisBits for the old systems, and the missions are starting. Oufits and Ships are done. Yeah, maybe I should make some Generic Ships.
