I don't care what any body says about the Voinians or me... they have the best ship in the galaxy(only if u give it all the upgrades), Best armour protection, and the most powerful guns. If ur thinkin what I'm thinkin they should have destroyed the Humans a long time ago. I may be Igadzra but i did all the missions for the voinians, got me a Cruiser got me a plasma Siphon, SAE modules, phase turrets, and now I'm invincible. In regular time, it's been about 8 months since I've died.

Voinians and Igadzras are the only beings that should be living in this Galaxy! :mad:

This Hork Bajiir dude has the right idea! This dude got it exactly right! Voinians and Igadzra are m 2 favorite races, and the Voinians do have the best ship (arguably). I don't hate the Ue, but all the UE lovers/Voinian dissers have made me like it a lot less, so I am almost in total agreement with this dude.

Can anyone answer my question about why Voinians are called Viks/Vikimadegie(sp?)?

I never said you claimed that the Pope was the Antichrist or that the Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon. It's just that the Left Behind novels are of a Fundamentalist/Evangelical theology (I know, not all Evangelicals are Fundamentalists and vice versa), but many Evangelicals and Fundamentalists hold the aforementioned views.

As for the number of bad knights and bad samurai, I'm sorry that I forgot to post that in my previous post- I was sort of bush, I think. Anyway, I am not denying the fact that many warriors broke the code, but the fact is the code was still there, and (at least some) people saw this code-breaking and denounced it. There seems to be no similar code for the Voinians. OK, maybe the Klingons and feudal Japan weren't the best examples. Sorry.
(As for the "children up to the front," that was the Children's Crusade, and it had nothing to do with the knights. A kid in Germany convinced a lot of other children that if they all marched on Jerusalem, the Muslims would peacefully surrender the city to Christian rulers. Unfortunately, a lot of the kids either got sick and died or sold into slavery, and the "Crusade" was a failure)

As for Verril Prime, though, yes, it could have become a major shipyard or something but the fact is, why didn't the Voinians save their time and energy and do something useful, like destroy Outpost Alpha? A space station is easily destroyed with a large enough fleet (maybe the could have gotten some ships from the Voina defense fleet ) and the destruction of Outpost Alpha would have moved the frontier to Centauri, which is just one jump away from Sol. But no, the Voinian Empire decides to kill a lot of innocent civilians on Verril Prime.

Oh yes, your excuse that maybe a descendant of someone on Verril Prime (or a kid living there) would eventually kill important Voinian ships is a fatuous excuse. It gives you the license to kill anyone, because anybody's descendant could end up being your murderer.

And to BattleDoctor, two things:
1. Why do we "UE lovers/Voinian dissers" make you like the UE a lot less? Please explain.
2. The reason why Alien calls the Voinians the Vikimedigies (or Viks) is because h wants to irritate the Voinian lovers who don't like it when "Voinian" is misspelled (see Lonevoinian's sig)

Destroying Verril Prime doesn't take much resources while an assault on outpost alpha would.

So its easy to take over a space station? Guess what pretty much all of the UE border consists of. ahhh... if only EVO was a longer game

Finally, IF the hewmans ever managed to capture a loyal voinian planet. Do you seriously think they would try and colonize it. The inhabitants wouldn't allow it, resulting in a decimation of the population (who knows, maybe they'd just leave the planet alone :rolleyes: ). Ditto if a hewman planet was taken.

Well... Outpost Gamma is a moon.. oh yes, and most of the Voinian border is stations, too. What was Outpost Sigma? Originally a Voinian station. What kept the Hinwar on Liadon from revolting? A station with big guns. What was Avann Outpost? An important Voinian station. What did the Emalgha take over in the Romit system? A Voinian station.

He didn't say that the average Voinian was loyal (though I don't doubt they are), but he did say it was a loyal planet. So even though not all Voinians may be loyal, this planet would be, so if the UE dominated it the Voinian population would fight.

The first time I played EVO I liked the Voinians and I did all that was possible to make peace between Voinian and UE. But you know there is no mission that can do this, and I found myself helping the Vionains (AHH! I've mispelled it! AHH!) by doing the missions starting from Pax. When I realised this I aborted immediately and I promised to kill every Voinian I see in any pilot because I hoped to make peace and I was beginning to be another killer in the hands of the Voinians.

And you shouldn't use stuff that the player accomplished as reasons why you think the UA (sp?) is better.

P.P.S. Chalk another one up for people who love dreadnoughts. The most time efficent ship in the game. Conquer all Zidigar territory in less than two hours. And while I used the cheat plug to ghet the dreadnought (game freezes when I capture it and use it as my own) all the outfitting is legit.

Sad to say it, but there is prooh that at least ONE Voinian isn't loyal (in the early UE missions). However, we can't use his idiocy as dirt on an entire race. And we all know he was not sober when he decided to defect.
