Hi all. I'm playing this incredible game for the first time, and trying to squash the Voinians. But things seem to be at a stalemate- the 3 outposts in the west have made me about 15 million credits richer, but seem to make no dent in the Voinian war. Will they repeat forever, or should I keep doing them? If they do repeat forever, I can't find any more missions relating to the Voinians...

What I've done- Emalgha missions, got UE Cruiser, Mirava missions, full map, Voinian defector & dreadnought missions, various others

Any info is appreciated!

Have you done the one were you free the Hinwar and team up with D'Earlon? That's the last one, after that you should download Reign of the UE, which adds more UE missions.

Reign of the UE is availabvle from the EVO Addons page ( (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/games/evo/addons.html")http://www.ambrosiaS...evo/addons.html(/url) ), and I've heard good things about it. But remember, you have to free the Hinwar first. To get the Hinwar mission, hang out at the Voinian station you helped the Emalgha capture.

Hmmm...Good question. I've completed all the UE missions before, but the war never seemed to really come to an end. I thought that when I downloaded Override, it said something about missions bringing chnages to the galaxy, but I guess that didn't include the Voinian War. But even after you've gotten the UE cruiser and finished all the missions, their is a plug called "Reign of the UE" that will finish the whole war. I've heard it's pretty good, and it goes all the way to the fall of Voinia itself. That's all I can really tell you. Sounds like you've gotten pretty far in Override. Have fun!

NEVER, EVER, EVER ask which strand is best!!! You will get flamed to hell and end up in the middle of all these Iggie, Azzie, and Ziddie supporters simply unloading on each other!!!

Wait a minute, Alien. We weren't talking about what mission strands were the best in the game. We were talking about what you do AFTER you have completed all the UE missions. Personally, I could care less what mission string is the best. I like them all! To put simply, we were trying to explain how to go on to beat the Voinians in EVO, and "Reign of the UE" is the answer. (Which I have yet to play) =/

After you do the Hinwar missions download righn of the UE.

Uh, the mission strings involving the Voinian War did change the galaxy. Avann Outpost was destroyed, the Emalgha conquered a Voinian station and destroyed a Voinian world, the enslaved Hinwar were freed, and many other significant changes were made...

Wow, thanx a bunch for all the info! It appears I have yet to help the Emalgha defeat anything, I only protected Emalghia. I keep returning to there and Kelmaon, looking for missions, but no luck yet. Also I haven't run into any Hinwar missions...

I guess I assumed that any race could be totally squashed in the shipping version of EVO. I'll definitely check out all the plugs ASAP. Now I'm off to my ship, the Drunken Destroyer, to find those missions. Thanx again!

You get the Hinwar mission from the newly created emalgha station

Gurado is where you get the next Emalgha mission. The Hinwar missions come much later.

Ok, thanx again, right now there are no missions available at Gurado. All I have done with Emalghia is it's first mission, defending it 3 times. And then introducing them to human trade of course. I've noticed Voinian attacks every time I launch from any planet in Emalgha system, maybe I should toast the warships a few more times...?

Also, someone mentioned hanging out with D'Erlon after destroying Avann outpost? I've done those repeating missions several times each in Avann, Obron, and Vorik. These are the $150k and $250k missions regarding supply convoys and war fleets. I haven't seen the 'Destroy Avann' mission, any ideas?

For some reason the mission to attack Romit for the Emalgha doesn't always get offered when it should.. I'm not sure if you have to complete certain UE missions first, but that seems unlikely as it sounds like you've done any that could be necessary.. but the mission to attack Romit definitely starts from Gurado... keep trying :).

Thanx, I finally got it! After killing a lot of Voinians in Emalghia, I was offered a new 'Defend Emalghia' mission, which opened up the rest, all the way to the Central Objective I wouldn't have found it w/out all your help. Now for that Reign of the UE thing...

Sorry Skyblade. What I meant was I had thought that the Voinians would eventually be totally destroyed, to the point that Voinia itself no longer existed. Sorry I didn't clarify that!

After you finsh the UE mission string I think your done. Though some missions like leading attacs on the Voinians and Renages.

Hey, new guy, here are a few tips:

1. Missions which repeat themselves never get you anywhere in the story line. That is, in every storyline. They simply give you money, good rating with that government and satisfication of destroying people you hate in the game.

2. Missions are at Gurado for military missions. You will attack Equip and retreat to help out the UE at Avann. Then the story really prgresses.

3. Go to the newly captured Equip Station and a Hinwar will approach you. Do the mission.

4. Go to the most southen UE outpost and go to the bar. The rest of the story right itself.

5. Although it has nothing to do with the Voinians, you can help the UE in quite a few ways witht he Miranu. Go to Mirava and open a trade agreemant. If you're lucky, go to Himgro (another Miranu world just east of Mirava) and you might get a mission to cure New Calcutta of its disease.
