I have an Arada and 1/2 a million credits. What should be the next ship that I upgrade to, and what mission strings are probobly at my level? anyone have any other advice?

I reccomend a lazira or
UE destroyer spits at ground or
Voinian Frigate YES!
But to have the most fun, don't use cruisers and use strict play

The Lazira would probably be the next ship you should get.
P.S. Also, an Arada with Dospect is pretty good. Can take on a lot of stuff easily.

If I was playing for the Adzari, I wouldn't get a different ship. As someone here said awhile ago: "The Adzara's like the Dodge Viper. Fun to take for a spin, but not very practical." Otherwise, I'd get a Igdzra if I'm working for the Igdzari, and either a UE Cruiser or a Crecent Warship if i'm working for the Zidigar.

hmmm... lets see, upgrade from a 1 mil Arada to a 15 mil Igdzra. The Igdzra is a great ship but its a bit of a jump. I'd just keep on saving if I were you, unless you come across some missions that are just to hard to do with the Arada, then go with a lazira (but you'd need to save for that anyway, its about 3.5 mil I think)

If i was in your position, i would just capture a zidara, then capture an Igazra. Or a Zidara is fun anyway.

Get a Lazira and get the Strand main objective. That will get you plaenty of credits to upgrade to a Destroyer/Carrier. Then do the UE/Emalgha/Hinwar main objective to upgrade to a UE Cruiser (SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!)

Well, stay with the Arada. Upgrade it as you see fit, I list my personal faves below. It's the best and most fun ship in the game.
Upgrades:
RCS, Engine, Thrust Upgrades.
Shield Regenerator thingy, Azdgari upgrade (Azdgari missions) OR systems upgrade (Zidigar, I think)
UE Marine Gear (UE Missions)
Dospect (Voin. or UE Missions)
Shield capacitators
Pursuit missiles
SELL All secondaries
Phase turrets/swivel (or fixed) cannons maxed out

I love the Azdara! Putting Dospect on it makes it nearly invincible. It's great when you've finished the mission strings and just want to kill stuff or dominate planets.
PS: I'm not exaggerating about the "invincible" part. My latest conquest (Believe it or not) was Council Station.

Quite honestly folks, if you got time, then the Adzdara is the best ship in the game.
With dospect and an extra generator it is invincible.
I gave up my Voinian cruiser worth 19M for it.
Worth it too.
They are brilliant ships but you humans might have to tone the games speed down due to your inferior reflexes.

I personally like a maxed out Crescent Fighter, but that's just me...

1 - Capture an Azdgari Arada or Enhanced Azdgari Arada
2 - Sell ALL dispersal Rockets (in other words, all secondaries), keep swivel phase cannons, but sell the Rear Phase Cannons to get more space
3 - Outfit it with the following:
1=Azdgari Upgrade
2=RCS Upgrade
3=Thrust Upgrade
4=Engine Upgrade
5=Shield Generator
6=Exp. Shield Generator
7=Dospect Armor
8=UE Cloak (IF you can get it)
9=UE Marine Gear (where do you get THIS outfit?)
10=ECM System
Here's two other questions:
1-Where does the Enhanced Azdgari Arada appear? Which mission? How do you get this mission?
2-Where do you get the UE Marine Gear?
