I don't know if this has been discussed before.... but anways.... I noticed about about a month ago, that there was an uprade to 1.0.2 (Don't ask, I haven't been playing fro a while)
Ok, I install it, I'm all happy and all....
Ok... now this... I try to open my old pilots (THE ONES WHERE I WAS THE MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE GRRR) and...
DAMN It says that this is a pilot file from an older EVO and couldn't run on this version of EVO
has anyone noticed this? What do I do? throw away my old Pilot file?

It said in the update description that you would have to start new pilots. So, unless you might downgrade in the future, there's no point in keeping your old pilot files.

I rather enjoyed having an excuse for playing loads of my favourite missions all over again. 1.0.2 is a lot more challenging, so it really can be quite enjoyable trying to recreate your "Master of the Universe" exploits. Retire those old crews and start again. See if you can still remember how to get out of trouble in a shuttle.

I just started a bunch of my pilots over anyway. (Ok, I screwed them up with cheater plugs) But I think once I get a Arada, I'm going right to Haulti to get my revenge on those damn Kraits :mad:.

But it really is fun. Even if you are regularly blown up by kraits.
