I've been doing some extra exploring (beyond what is necessary to finish the game) and I've found the Pink Termite resort. Tell me, is there any advantage to swimming at the beach?

Although the high price of the Inn, the ticket for that dip in the water I think also acts like a Inn, kinda like a buy 1 get 1 free.

I did it another 35 times...unless there some super secret after 100 times, I think its a one-time deal.

I took 4 dips and nothing happened. I assumed that one of my stats would change, so I wrote them down and kept checking. Nothing happened. Am I not noticing some other subtle change? Does it take a random # of times for swimming to have some appreciable effect (other than draining you 80 GP a pop).

One of the various monks & monkettes at the Learning Tree will tell you that to gain anything from physical activity, you should do it five times. The only place I've sen thaty you can apply this is the swimming at the Pink Termite Inn. And I recall seeing a post in an earlier topic that it is a one shot effect.
