    • THe way to get 40+fighters without cheating is- attack a turncoat or UE carrier, but before they release their fighetrs, hail them and then beg for mercy. Then, if you attack them again, they will not release their fighters or use secondary weapons, and you can board them and steal their fighters. You can do this over... and over... and over... And that's how I got my 50 Kraits without even having a bay ๐Ÿ˜‰

I ask you to look both ways- for the road to the atom leads through the stars, and the road to the stars leads through the atom.

    • The Arada is easily the best ship in the game. If it's green, you must have an Azdgari Arada (Check by pressing 'P' while flying). You or your kids may have captured this, because you can't buy it (Or they cheated...). Perhaps you captured a 'PERS', or individual personality in the game. these ships have names different from the ship class and may act or speak strangely. Maybe the one that you/your kids captured had a UE fighter bay, as this is possible.

Is the answer to this question 'no'?

    • The easiest way to get back to something resembling a normal EV:O game will be to land somewhere that has a shipyard, and buy some new wheels. Er - wings. Whatever.

Your 40 UE fighters should have quite an impressive trade-in value, so you'll easily get yourself quite a nice ship, and you'll find it has
      (a) some guns at the sharp end, and/or
(๐Ÿ†’ room for some similarly destructive equipment

Then you'll be able to enjoy the game as it was meant to be played. These guys are just envious that you've ended up with more fighters than EV:O can actually handle at a time - something that can be exploited to prevent enemy ships from launching, by dumping all yours into space first. Don't worry about it.

Another way to get back on track would be to start a new pilot file. I suspect that more than a few of the guys here would kill for a copy of your current one!

See you around the galaxy, captain!

    • Ugh, guys, look at the description for that ship. "Small, fast, green, etc". I don't think he was talking about the Arada. I think he was talking about the Adzara, which you cna get a bay for in the standard game.

I haven't heard of it so it's probably not in the original game. It may be in a plugin (if that's possible) or you may be thinking of a different game (but that would also be quite unlikely because EVO is only similar to EV and nothing else).

If you're lucky, when you board a ship that has fighters, and some of its fighters haven't been released by the time you board it, you just MIGHT have some fighters as the "weapons" in the boarding window.

And that "magic code" for the fighters is F. You select a target, release your fighters (or just some of them) and press F. They will then go and attack the selected target until it's destroyed, or until you tell them to stop by pressing V, C, or option-C.

V tells them to hold position.
C tells them to come back to you and get in formation.
option-C tells them to get back into your ship.
