OK...someones probably asked this question before, but which ship(s) do you think
are the best and worst value for money. Or do you just think that the ships are all well priced?
My opinion: EV-Best value-Courier and Corvette
Worst value-Lightning and Manta
EVO-Best value-UE Destroyer and Crescent Warship
Worst value- Crescent Fighter and Elmalgha Freighter

I agree, the ue destroyer is good.
The zidara is a better deal though, just remember- Just about everyone agrees that the Igazra is the best overall ship in the game- at 15M credits it better be...
the Zidara, which is less than a third as much, beats an igazra easily. I'm pretty sure that the Zidara is the best overall deal in the game. i mean- think about it- it is tough enough to fight most ships head on, and fast enough to monty python anything exept maybe an Arada or a fighter.

Worst buy: cresent fighter (yeah I suppose you could monty pyton with it but that isn't any fun and it would take forever)

I think the best value is the the Zidara. I prefer the Igazra and UE Cruiser, but for the size and money, it packs a punch. I also agree that the Krait is worth less than a shot of synthehol. (What would you guys guess that costs - 2 or 3 credits?)

Best Value: EV-Rebel Destroyer(It can take out a Kesteral Easily, and a Kesteral costs 5 times more)
EVO-Arada(even though by the time I'm finished upgrading, I've spent more than 10 million on it.
Wrost Value: EV-Kesteral (It's a awesome ship, but 10 Million is a rip-off)
EVO-Either the Crecent Fighter(same scenario as the Kesteral), or the VH Fighter(which is the second wrost fighter in the game, but still costs a quarter of a million)

I think that one of the best value ships in the game is the UE Cargo Transporter. For 75,000 credits you get a ship with 60 tons of cargo space. That's 50% more than you get with a scoutship. Its armour and shields are superior to the scoutship as well, but here's the amazing part:
Acceleration for both is 'average' and the cargo transporter actually has a higher top speed! Add a blaze cannon (it already has a turreted one) and a fuel tank or two, and you have a good ship for a wide variety of non-combat or limited combat duties. And it's got a solar panel 
Why people tend to choose the more expensive scoutship as their first upgrade from the shuttle is a mystery to me.

I always go from shuttle to transport, I dont use the scoutship.

Maybe EV converts are too fond of the scoutship to abandon it for the Transporter.
