To Alien: I'm afraid that your post is incorrect. Azdgari cloaks are not the conventional type. They pull whatever they are cloaking into sub-space where they then phase the vessel (or missile) into trillions of different phase modulations. Alien would never have been able to disable my missiles, because the phasing makes it so that stuff goes through it. This technology was borrowed from the Zigrigar. The Zigrigar are able to actually phase their molecules, and thus, then can step through walls, doors, and force fields (if there is any in this story).

To Rooster: Once the Azdgari in the Zachit system saw the Corocians jump out for no reason, they suspected a space bomb attack, and so they hyperspaced out as well. However, I still did loose Zachit station. Also, my missiles DID hit Mira. I would have done that before you said that nuclear warfare was no longer allowed. Mira is uninhabitable. My missiles (which were NOT disabled by alien) annihilated everything on the surface and turned Mira into a big blob of molten rock.

Meanwhile, Carnotaur is perswaded by Intimidator not to use any more nuclear weapons (well, I have to give SOME reason for not allowing nuclear warfare) and so Carnotaur looks for other options.

Then, he meets with a G'st'ar'ryh'thn scientist and talks about the Mesh device. The scientist explains the just before Carnotaur talked with Lonevoinian, he was about to use the mesh device to dematerialize two Raman planets, but was stopped by Carnotaur. Carnotaur, thinking of the war time implacations of this new weapon, gets an idea.

One week later, he has completed his idea: The Azdgari dreadnaught. It is actually three ships, two Azdgari Igazras and one Azdgari warship combined into one large vessel. The dreadnaughts weapons: 12 Enhanced Phase Turrets, 4 Azdara bays with 24 Azdaras, 3 Enhanced Disruptor Beam Turrets, and an Azdgari mesh device. This vessels purpose: To turn the tide of the war. Carnotaur decides that he can use the mesh device to dematerialize enemy ships, bases, stations, even planets. The ship is also equipped with slipstream drive, as well a megaton radiation beam.

The Megaton Disruptor Radiation Beam works by doing this: It is a special enhanced version of a disruptor beam. When the dreadnaught dematerializes something, the energy is stored in a special generator. This energy, after being accumulated over a long period of time, charges the megaton beam. Once the beam is ready, it fires a consontrated beam of disrupted radiation at a planet, which creates a 100 mile wide crater. However, it can only be used once and then it must be regenerated again, and this process takes a while.

Carnotaur goes to the Miranu sector with this ship, and decides to use it against the Hinwar still fighting them.

MODERATION: A standard nuclear explosion covers the radius of about one large city (i.e. Hiroshima). There are thousands of cities this size on Himgro and a larger majority of the land is covered by smaller cities outside of the blast radius. Therefore shockwaves would have to overlap each other to wipe out the entire planet, there would have to be millions of missiles, and any radiation could soon be dispelled. This is scientific logic, which is probably why no one tried largely available fusion based bombs until now. I accept that 120 of Carno's missiles hit and have released destruction and radiation upon one of Mira's continents. A similar fate came upon Himgro. NOTE: This is only because the Miranu were weakened at the time, you won't be using these missiles so effectively from now on unless a similar situation arises.

To Rooster: Let me point out something to you, Rooster. The bomb that destroyed Hiroshima was a small atom bomb. Today we use much larger Hydrogen Bombs, which are much more destructive than the bomb that destroyed Hiroshima. The missiles that the Azdgari used were modified, upgraded, and high tech 50 GIGATON missiles! I pointed out these missiles destructive capability. And, as you can see, the fate that befell Mira and Leita was correct. And read Nova6's post again. He didn't nuke Himgro. He vaporized the atmosphere, killing off the inhabitants.

Just a quick note to everyone, Azdgari ships have a new crew compliment of about 704, making it harder for Rooster's troop drones to destroy Azdgari warships.

Meanwhile, Carnotaur continues on his test of the new Azdgari dreadnaught. So, Carnotaur goes to the DSN-8619 system. 2 Hinwar dreadnaughts and 3 Hinwar frigates approach the lone Azdgari dreadnaught. As they get nearer to Carnotaur, he gives to signal to the weapons control officer.

The Hinwar ships never knew what hit them.

The captains of the vessels only heard screams from themselves and their crew members as they and their ship were dematerialized, and not rematerialized.

"Very good, the Mesh Weapon worked well for its first trial run. Tell our forces to move in 20 Azdgari Warships and occupy this system."

Then, Carnotaur hypers into DSN-1154 and once again uses his Mesh Device Weapon with devastating results. The station there refuses to surrender, and so Carnotaur dematerializes it as well.

"How many more times can we use the Mesh Device Weapon?" Carnotaur asks.

"Two more times. Then it must regenerate (I had to make some kind of weakness for the Mesh device)."

Carnotaur then heads to DSN-8200 and destroys the ships there, but he gets slightly damaged, but barely enough to worry about.

"Head back to Pozdag. There, we will recharge the Mesh Weapon, and attack the Corocians."

Rooster, the Hiroshima bomb was 20 Kilotons. These bombs are 50 GIGAtons. That is equivalent to two million five hundred thousand Hiroshima bombs. Forget Hiroshima, if one of those was droped on Japan you could say goodbye to ASIA!

This is growing tiresome...as soon as i can choose a suitable moderator i believe i'll be withdrawing from the story. Continuous argument against moderation has turned this elaborate role playing game into Carnotaur's war simulator and i don't see how it can continue to be entertaining. I suppose i'll need a final report of standings so i can choose my replacement.

To Rooster: Although I disagree with you on many things, I will agree with you on one thing: No more nukes. As for my practically invincible Azdgari dreadnaught, it has five weaknesses. 1-It takes 4 weeks at the minimum to build one of these things. Carnotaur was only able to get his built so fast because he had already been building it for a while. 2-The mesh device can only be used 4 times against a maximum of 10 or 12 warships each. Then, it must recharge for 4 days. 3-It is no stronger than a normal Igazra. 4-It's hull is not very strong. 5-It does not have good recharge. 6-The Megaton Radiation beam is just a little extra addon thing that Carnotaur was testing. The Mesh Device must be used 16 times in order to power it up just once.

And Rooster, the reason I am winning so much is because you refuse to attack me in a BIG battle. You've only confronted me when it was pretty easy for you. Make a big battle. My Agzarai Imperial allies can't help much. They can only send three warships. The Rogue are small and are thus having trouble sending me ships. Lonevoinian is small. And Rama is not entirely under my control. Also, I myself am stretched a little thin because of my large empire. However, I am starting to recover slowly.

Hope I made you feel better about this whole thing.

Suddenly ten of the ships fired their Mesh Projectors at the ten other ships. But this time it was to transport, not to kill. The ships disassembled their molecules and then reassembled in Thoso. "Are Mesh Weapons online?" "Yes sir." "Activate protocol TF734." The ships fired their Mesh Projectors at the star in the system. They captured a very large amount of Star Plasma, half of which they then transported to the same spot as Crocket and the other half to New Chicago. The two moons were vaporized almost instantly. However, the effort required to do this destroyed one ship, disabled five more and wiped out the Mesh Projectors on all of the ships. The Corocian Ships were just about to destroy the ships when the other 10 G'st'ar'ryh'ht ships jumped in and wiped out the Corocian fleet by transporting all their ships into each other. It was messy but successful. The crew of the disable ships were rescued, all the ships were Meshed out and the spaceport on Feviry helped repair them, but they can't use their Mesh Projectors until they get back to G'st'ar'ryh'ht space.

Back on G'st'ar'ryh'ht:

"Yes, a fighter. A very small ship that can be produced very fast. It only has three Heat Throwers and no Mesh Projectors, but it can be produced very fast. One hundred to One hundred fifty a day! But it would be destroyed by these "Voinian Interceptors" you talk about. We also were able to produce another 10 Colony Cruisers while you were away." "Great!" Said I, Lonevoinian. "Give yourself and everyone on that station a 20% raise and a 50% of your yearly salary bonus." "Th-th-Thank you sir!" The Scientist stammerd. "We will do whatever it takes to help the Empire and the alliance."

Actually, because I want to make this game fair, the mesh weapon has two more disadvantages:

1-When the weapon is fired, the ship cannot be operating engines or firing weapons (energy consumtion)

2-The mesh weapon can only be used 4 times in a system before it creates dangerous sub-space disturbances. After 5 days, it can be used in the system again.

Hear is some info on my o-zone destroying weapon:

The o-zone destroyer is a beam used by the Rogue. Only two ships are equipped with the o-zone destroyer. The o-zone destroyer works like this: First it charges up, then it is fired at a planet, the beam stops at the upper atmosphere, making a shockwave that covers the planet, destroying the o-zone layer. Since the o-zone layer is gone tons of radiation from the star in the system hits the planet, destroying all life. The shockwave also turns the atmosphere into acidic clouds that rain down acid rain, destroying all structures on the planet. The beam can only be used ten times before it has to be replaced. The Rogue are working on a way to recharge the beam without having to replace it or take it out. The two ships that are equipped with the o-zone destroyer are bombarding ships modified to carry the beam.

Here are the Rogue's standings:

They have 6 Bombarding ships,
20 Cruisers,
28 Destroyers,
And 80 Attack ships.

They own 8 systems (One of which was captured),
And have destroyed 2.

I just finished reading ALL of the post that I missed. I've laughed, I've cried, I have cheered on different races of this mighty war.
Here is my evaluation.
This is a good story. It began when the Agzardi discovered some new technology which open up jump links to a small cluster of stars which were the remnants of a once mighty spiral galaxy. The Agdzari discovered a race that was intent on destroying all other races because they had suffered by an alliance of weaker races. This once pieceful race declared war on the Milky Way but accepted the help of the Agdzari Empire and a small race which had just freed themselves from a cage of black holes. A great war ensued, with the centered efforts of great powers technology advanced very rapidly and a great arms race ensued. The small race that joined the Ramans from the black hole turned on them simply because of the rumors of one called rooster. For the Ramans, history began to repeat itself. The agdzari however remained firm in their alliance.
Now the armsrace continues with no race seeming to beat the other. Technology does not seem to help. What can decide the victor? If not technology, then what?

If this post is accepted, all weapons and technology has been reset to the original EVO technology. All hyperspace technology remains. Exception: Each government may choose 1 and only ONE weapon/armor technology. Inorder to advance technology you must begin researching it after this post and keep on researching it for a while before you make the breakthrough. This should take care of the stalmate.

Thanks Daedalus, but i have to use your post as an example to exactly what i've been saying. All of those "suggestions" were rules from the start. Restarting everything just the same will help nothing unless these rules are recognized. Every construction and movement will have to be noted in progress. If we're going to continue this at all we need to all be on the same track of thought about it.

I propose we halt the activities until after New Years, if the majority agrees.

First of all, I must make a special request. It is: That I may keep my Disruptor Beam technology and my Mesh Weapon Technology. The Disruptor beam I had for a long time and either way I would rediscover it very soon.

Second of all, Daedalus, you made a mistake. The "Battle" between Lonevoinian and Rama was all cleared up by Intimidator and Carnotaur. Besides, Lonevoinian revoked his post about attacking Rama.

Third of all, now that I am staying with my Grandfather for the holidays, I asked him "What would happen if I launched eighty 60 GIGAton missiles at a planet?" The answer: "There would probably be no planet." You see, a gigaton is 1 BILLION tons. Multiply that by 60, and you get 60,000,000,000 tons of nuke heading at a planet. Any planetary shield would be annihilated, and even if the missiles were destroyed, the remnants of the missiles (which would be highly radioactive) would fall down on the planet, killing billions. If you dropped a 60 gigaton nuke on Asia, it would completely take care of Asia, make Europe look like spagetti, Japan would be in the stratosphere, and you would never have to worry about violence the middle east (mainly because half it would be under water after the entire place was leveled and the every mountain in the reigon would be turned into atmospheric dust).

Oh my god...I'm going to begin thinking about how the governmental situation of the Azdgari will be settled, but Carnotaur needs to really change his attitude about this story. I also now issue Daedalus as co-moderator if he chooses to accept, and any conflict he sees can be handled or suspended until my arrival. He may maintain the Silverfleet and have full access to Corocian space and facilities. Carnotaur needs to think about his position and allocate some of his resources to his people instead of making huge missiles. All remaining players need to submit a proposal as to how much of Azdgari territory is rightfully theirs.

We'll start again on New Years Day. Everybody be thinking about your plans.
