I have noticed something (duh!)........

The Voinians seem to have a thing about this Borb guy.
Well for example the station orbiting Voina is called Borb Station and the Voinian Criuser is called a Borb class Cruiser, righ?

I was just wondering if anybody knows who the hell this Borb guy is or what they think he is.

Well I just have no idea myself!

Borb is the great voinian general who conquered all of what is now the voinian empire.

Borb was a Voinian who expanded the Voinian Empire to what it is today. He crushed the people of Dur and Ala, he counquered the Tientu (or its spelled something like that), he also conquered the Emalgha and Hinwar. After he died from old age or in battle, the Emalgha revolted. He was a great general and military mind.

As far as I know the Voinians seem to look at him as a role model and obviously a hero. So thats why they named the class of cruiser they use and an entire station after him.

Hmmmmmmm, I wonder why Voinian Ambassador hasn't visited this topic yet...

He was the most importent general in voinian history. He was the one who counquerd emalgha the first time. The reason that the emalgha are free now is that he died of old age and a stupid, younger general decided to go to war with the phewees. after a while enough ships had been drawn away from emalgha so they could succesfuly rebel. And after a large enitial conflict with many thousnd deaths on both sides, the emalgha finely were free.

Borb is the first heavy- cruiser commander under the Voinians who conquered and invaded the now remaining Voinian empire. He held the Emalghia and the Hinwar under control until he died of age. He was a main military strategist and he expanded the Voinian empire. The Voinians probably look at him with respect and their main shipyard, Borb Station is named after him as well as the most powerful Voinian heavy cruiser, the Borb-class Voinian Cruiser and he is probably honoured by most Voinians.....This is a theory but......

I wonder if that squabbling old Voinian on Fu (the moon orbiting Lelint in the Gamur system) turned out to be the great Borb in retirement?

Anyway, about Borb...

Borb is looked at by most Voinians (if not all) as a hero, saint, idol, and who knows what else. Borb probably helped the Voinians conquer the Emalgha for the first time. He also probably conquered the Durala, the Tientu, the Emalgha (as I have already mentioned), the Hinwar, and he probably helped exterminate the Irid. As for when he died, he may have actually met his fate while fighting in the battle of Sol. That's probably why the Voinians faired so well in the early parts of the war, they had Borb. When Borb died, the Voinians could not defeat the UE because they did not have Borb. As for that guy on Fu, he may be related to Borb, maybe a cousin, uncle, brother, son, whatever.

With Borb of their side, the Voinians would easily conquer the UE and take back Emalghia.

Actually... a little background info on 'Borb'

Matt and Andrew were in high school together. They had this little club thing going on and they were the only two members. They wore long raincoats and always painted their faces white. They thought they were the coolest guys in high school but nobody could stand them. Since they believed not in the hierarchy of the school system but in everyone being equal, they called each other Borb. Regular conversations would be like 'Hey Borb. Borb. Cool. Uhuh. Hey Borb... did you see that? Yeah. Cool huh. You suck, Borb! **** you I have a class'.

Several years later, they found each other again in Ambrosia SW...
So they reinstated 'Borb' as being cool, loved by everyone, yet ugly as hell...
