First of all, hi. I haven't been here in quite awhile.

Now then, I recently booted up EVO for the first time in a while, having grown bored with Starcraft and Diablo 2. I decided to play ROTV II, as I had never finished it. I cleared out my plugs and added the latest version of ROTV I/II (the Magma version). I started a new file, and now I'm well into 2. My question is this: I got a mission (starting at Mira)
to destroy an attacking Zachit fleet. It says that it's ok to lose the mission, too. I have destroyed the entire fleet several times, as well as simply taking off then landing again. Nothing I do has completed this mission. The arrow on the map points to the Mirava system, so could someone please tell me how to finish the mission?

You got bored of Starcraft and Diablo II??? What's wrong with you??

I had your same problem... I canceled the mission, got it again, and then it worked. But, I still had to go back and kill ships quite a few times before the plug continued.

To compleat the mission you
1. Accept the mission
2. Blow up the Zachit ships
3. Jump out of the Mira system
4. Jump back in
5. Blow up the rest of the Zachit ships. If that doesn't work, repeat parts 3-5 until there are no more Zachit ships in the system.

I was playing ROTV I and I finally finished all the missions. Once I was finished, I downloaded ROTV II. When I booted EVO up again, I entered my pilot, and POOF! Next thing I know I'm in the Sol system, but there is no Earth. Nothing. Zip. Nadda. What is this? I wanted to play it but I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I was using EVO 1.0.1 if that's any help. Can any of you help?

Don't use v. 1.0.1. Download the latest.

Is ROTV 1 in the plug thing too? If that doesn't work ,download "Reign: Magma" and try.
